Post subject:  opening in the street when not ready... please help me out
it has been happaning to me a lot of times that an HB or a set with a good looking girl has walked across me in the street when i wasnt sarging or anything! i wanted to pick the up but i had nothing on my mind.
when i walk back from school,when i walk my dog,when i go to meet friends...etc

sometimes i have 30 seconds to think of something,sometimes i have 5...and in this time of thinking, some openers go through my mind but nothing seems to be reasonable for starting to talk to a group in the middle of the street!

please u guys to give me ideas for openers in the middle of the street,the things u use and work,try to make it easy to memorize b/c im talking bout situations that im not ready!

p.s:if u have something as good as opening a set that is across the street...(i belive this would be one of the hardest ways to pick up)... anyways if u do bring it on!


p.s btw, one of the bigger reasons that it is more difficult for me to pick up in the middle of the street...is that for some reason i dont understand... i have 10 times bigger AA in the street then any other place!!! i berarly have AA in the pool or in a club or in the beach or in a store!
but when i have one second to say the words, right when the set is about to cross my way, when there is a distance of two steps and 1 second,then my aproch anxiaty is closing my mouth and that is the part i need a confident field tested opener!!!!!! :cry: please help the non street pua! :D

hey i think that i just answered my own Q;why i have AA in the street...
bc my time is short,the distance gets closer and closer,but if i miss the chance it only gets further and further!

hahahaha i answered my question while asking it ! :lol:

Im new to this game, but one line ive used alot that has opened women in the street is " Dont you hate it when random people just start speaking to you" This has had some good responses, more oftern then not it makes them smile or laugh, and I go on from there.

also, if the target goes on to say that blah blah blah she thinks another artist other than david bowie is hotter, it creates a perfect opppurtunity to neg. cut in just after she said the name of the other artist IF it occurs.

if worst comes to worst just ask them for directions to local coffee shop or bookstore. This at least gets them talking then you can move on ask them there fave place to go eat or ask recomendations from ehre you can take convo anywhere and #close by asking hey you have awesome taste give me you rnumber in case i ever need new suggestions...

Always have a cheat sheet on you for starters.

Begin opening even as you try to pick an opener:
"Hey, real quick, I need your opinion on something," 'Right, now I need an opinion opener, any at all, it doesn't matter which.' "What... would you say... is the scariest horror film? I have to bring a film to a horror movie night but I don't know what to get," >glance/body rock in direction of Blockbusters<

Hell, if beginning the opener you can't think of something good then say something shit and, when called, laugh about it and say it was part of a social experiment or something.

Of course, situational openers are always good.

Post subject:  Approaching in the street
hey guys,

If your suffering a little AA reframe, take the pressure off and use lines that you would open up to, if someone asked me for directions, which bar/coffee shop to go to etc, it would open me up. This is about as indirect (hence easy) as you can get.

Pretend your not from town and start by getting directions to somewhere, the aim is to open, say a few lines maybe get their names or quick opinion and leave, go on to the next set.

Open 5-10 then step it up a gear use a slightly more direct opener each time. So after 5 the next 5 you might get their opinions on a bar, or an item of clothing your wearing.

Then go a little more direct again, step it up a gear slowly.

The actual opener isn't that important but it helps if its funny and opinionated, thus getting them comfortable with you, one of my personal favourites, 'hey, can i get your opinion on something, what would you prefer a bad shag or really good cup of tea' When delivered correctly this makes them laugh and starts a debate, experiment with your openers because what works for some people, will not work for others, its in the delivery, facial expression and the body language, more than the words you use.

You will get over your AA by opening very directly, for instance, go straight in, introduce yourself and ask them out straight away, this will lead to a good close around 5-10% of the time, but by keep doing this, it soon makes you fearless.


This is basically how I got over it, how the majority of rAFC's and PUA's I know got over it.

It's proven to work, but for your own devlepment will be easier with a wing, or tutor.

ho man this looks very good to me'but also at the same time looks very difficult...the begining is easy but after you start with that girlfriend test and keep going it becomes very sofisticated,for very advanced pua's..and kind of hard to memorize....
but thanks anyways ill try to do what i can!
