Post subject:  What stories do you tell?

I've got some openers and some simple routines, I'm working on my body language, but I need some ideas for stories to tell. Anyone got any stories that work for them?

thanks,

You are a salesman. You are in sales.

Be interested, not interesting. This is very hard for me as well. I have a wealth of stories, but the other person is interested in hearing themselves, not you. Even in platonic relationships.

I like to compliment the woman, or pick up on something in her body language, friends, ambiance of the place you are at, something in her purse, etc. and ask her about it, and let them talk.

If they are not talkative or give one word answers, try to get them to open up, if they continue after a few more questions without loosening up, excuse yourself and move on.

Corny lines break the ice, some women hate lines altogether, what you need is the second wave of conversation.

So what do you do?

Do you live close by?

Always find out if they are alone, with friend or other

If they are prissy, talk about expensive things or places, if they are tomboy talk about down to earth things. Remember, you want them to talk and then you agree with whatever they say...

no opinion thats all good but i've also found that you seem more interesting if youmake statements that beg for a response instead of asking questions....just asking questions can seem real awkward and gets old quick
If you use phrases like "you and your friends seem like u know each other inside and out" it usually brings some sort of response that she wants to tell u about, i.e. "Ya well we've known each other since....bla bla.." This also makes for a nice segway when a convo seems like its about to die out.

Post subject:  Stories

The best stories come from real life. Tell them things taht actually happened, but embellish the hell out of them!

For Example, the "Girls fighting outside" story is pretty lame if you just say two girls were fighting outside... But if you say they were fighting over their gang-member BF who was laughing about the whole thing while they puched eachother in the face and ripped eachother's weaves out and one shoved the other into the way of the police car that came onto the scene almost killing her... It becomes way more intense.

Also, if you need more stories, just describe (in your own embellished, exciting, manner) the plot of a lesser known movie or TV show taht'll make her laugh or sat "OMG". (Adult swim on cartoon network used to be great 4 this, but now everyone watches it)
