here are the happenings: around christmas ime, i went to the mall and entered a sam goody. I Was looking for a particular movie, and i happened to lock glance with a chic that works there and she asks "can i help you?" me: yeah im looking for M---- she: i think i saw it over here.....ah yes here it is me: awesome thats what i was looking for bla bla (i enter into some small talk) well its time to go, nice to mee you ad i leave. What struck me about her was her seeming coldness and rigidness as a person. I did find found we went to the same college and her major, etc. i decide to return a couple o weeks later and i dont see her. I go to a salesman and ask him to look up a title, while i ask whens the next time she was gonna work there(error?). The guy gave me some vague answer. I let a couple more weeks pass and i go and see her. I walk up to her and holding up a bag o candy i had bought(not for her) i tease her by saying "these are for you" sidetrack: more outgooing peeps will kind-s laugh and go along with the convo however, i got an awkward vibe from "robbo-chik" when i teased her and that threw me a bit off balance. I told her i stepped in just to say hi but had to go (error 2?) and asked if i could get her number (coincedentally, she dropped a cd she was arrangeing when i said this} an the chik said "ok" i gave her a drawing book i had and told her to write it there I said goodye and left I wait like four more days and i call her. heres the convo. me: hi A., this is Art from the store. I was going out today and was wondering if you'd like to come. she: sorry but i have plan with somebody else today, nd tomorrow i have work and the day after too (at this point it sounded she was saving me the trouble of asking if she was free any day after). Let me check my schedule and i'll call you back. she never did. I call back a few days after and her voicemail comes up. I dont leave a message. Its been like three days since. .We start school tomorrow, and thought of asking if she wanted to meet up on campus. I called and her voicemail came up. i didnt leave a message. Ive decided to ditch this undeserving robot and move on. Any pointers or thoughts? thanks, -Art |
