I want to get some feedback on if my plan makes sense
the girl: is about an 8. Seems to be genuinely nice but also shy.
Interaction so far: saw this girl at the gym and asked her about the exercise she was doing. She answered and then I mentioned I see her at the gym a lot and asked if she is on a team. She said no. Some guy was standing 2 feet away waiting for her to hurry up so I went back to my exercise.
I saw her the next day in the gym walking up to the water fountain and said "hey," she smiled/responded and I continued "I tried out your ISO curls and they really worked; I made dinner for friends that night and afterwards I was doing the dishes and they said they never saw anyone clean so quickly!" She laughed and I drank from the fountain. My next line was weaker and I asked her next, "do you know any exercises that can help me with do my taxes?" She laughed and said no, so I joked, "damn, guess I'll just have to keep running away from town to town." At this point she was moving in for water so I went back to my workout.
next move? so I feel like it's hard to talk much in the gym cause everyone is focused on his or her workout. Plus she seems shy. She was happy when I reopened her and laughed at my (marginally funny) jokes So I'm thinking to just go direct and ask her to to grab some food or coffee after a workout.
I was thinking that the next time I see her without many people around I'll say, "hey, I have to admit I think you are really pretty and i get the feeling you are an interesting person too. I'd love to get a chance to know you and make you laugh. Could you we grab something to eat/drink after after a workout?" I should mention to you guys that there are restaurants and Starbucks next door.
If she says yes, I'll say "cool how about today?" After she responds I'll introduce myself (give her my name) and do logistics
If she says no then I'll say, "Its cool, I understand we don't really know each other. But I hope you don't mind that I'm gonna continue to do those ISO curls I asked you about
