Post subject:  First Sarge, First Success...
This is the best outcome I could possibly have for a first time out...

I decided to hit up the mall to try some material on some lucky subjects just to overcome some AA. The first store I walked into was a mens business dress store. A salesman there asked me if I was looking for a buddy of mine and I simply said, "No, I'm just trying to keep myself entertained." This must have caught the attention of one of the female employees of the store. She came over and asked me how I knew this friend. I simply said that I've known him for years, etc. etc. She looked extremely bored so I rolled with that. "Do you always look that excited to talk to random customers?" She smiled and explained that it's been a rather boring night and that she'd rather be anywhere else than at work at that moment. So I said, "Well then, why don't we do something to spice your night up a little bit. How about a challenge?" Instantly her face caught some color. I knew that this was an IOI. She listened to me explain the challenge.

"I'll piece together an outfit, and you piece together one. I'll try them both on and ask the other employee here which they think is better."

She asked what the terms of this challenge was.

"If I win, we'll go for a walk to the coffee shop and grab a coffee on your break, but if you win, I'll buy your outfit."

This actually was risky, but I was willing to buy clothes in the first place, otherwise why would I come to the mall. Haha. So the two of us are walking around the store, picking out pants, shirts, ties, you name it. Then came the try-on. And guess what? I win. *possibly because I used to work in a mens' clothing store and have some fashion sense* haha.

So we're going for our coffee walk and I say to her. "You know, that was really unfair. I could tell a lot about your personality right away and I knew that you'd pick out clothes like that."

"How'd you know about me? You just met me!"
"Actually, I haven't met you yet"
"I'm Rachel"
"I'm JaeEm"
"So tell me what you know of me"
"How about we do this... " *This is where I began the Cube routine*

Once she calmed herself down as to how close I was with this, I explained that I had to get back to shopping, after all that's why I came to the mall.
Me: "Maybe we can continue this conversation on another night?"
Rachel: "Yeah, I work every wednesday, but if you want to get together this weekend, here's my number."

CHECK MATE.

Not bad for a first time, hey?

Any variation ideas? Or similiar stories?

Good one!

Although a little unfair to the rest of us, who never worked in a clothing store. Kinda like Mystery pulling one of his magic tricks to get the girl.

But good story nonetheless. And you did use what you study in the game, so overall, good job!

Hold on...wouldnt the other employee..assuming he heard the terms of the challenge...be biased for his/her coworkers outfit so that she wouldnt have to go for coffee and theyd get you to buy the outfit?

I'm doubting her heard it, and even if he did, what's not to say that he would sabotage? You can tell by how he described it, that she was into him pretty much from the get go, because he conveyed interest and had her open him.

just to clarify...

... by the time the female employee and I were talking, the other employee had moved to another side of the store. So it wasn't really possible for the 2nd employee to hear us.

However, if he had... think to yourself, if someone came by your work and did that, what would you do? Personally, I'd make my co-worker go for coffee because even if she wanted or didn't want it, it'd be funny to me for her to lose the bet and have to go. Hahahaha.
