Post subject:  Approaching girls with headphones

A lot of people listen to music while they're out and about. Sometimes an approach can be lost because a girl has earphones on. Can someone recommend a good opener for a girl with headphones on?

I was thinking of just walking up to her and just mouthing some words. When she took her earphones off I could say something like, "I just said airheads were deaf and you didn't hear me". What do you think of that? Would that work or would that get me a slapped face?

I don't think that would be a smooth thing to say. I don't think calling someone an airhead will yeild good results, unless she knows that you're definately just joking, but even still I'd avoid that one.

If anything, just say something like "Hey, you're really cute. I just had to come over and meet you. I'm (your name)."

Okay, maybe that's not the best opener, but it's better then calling them an airhead, lol.

Ok, never EVER tell a girl that u find her attractive when u first meet her. The mouthing idea is a good one, but u need to neg, not insult.

Always try to adapt you're surroundings, for example, when she takes her headphones off:

"I said u look cool/nice/interesting with those headphones on, (they hide ur ears/it looks like u have really long earrings)" Also, the whole point of an opener is to break the ice - it doesn't matter wat u say, just get her talking.
Hope that helps

how bout rocking up (from her 10 or 2 o'clock) show her YOUR ipod screen and mouth of something, when she takes off her headphones to see what your saying...tell her

"what are you listening to that makes you do that funny little dance you were doing before?" she'l ask you "what dance?" tell her "I'm not going to do it here it's stupid" (NEG) before you know it you've already opened her..

what you think? i havn't done it, im but thinking about it

...You don't need a routine for girls like this.

I'm assuming day game? Go by the situation.

Or you could do it how I do it here on the subway where I see a girl and I always wave my hand at her confidently. She'll either take off the earphones ('cause that's the majority of what people use here) or roll her eyes. I got solutions for both.

Alright, if you wave your hand confidently, it shows confidence. Confidence is an attractor.

Remember this:

1) Approach/Engage.
2) Spike her emotions.
3) Escalate.
4) Repeat the process.

Alright, the approach was this:

I wave my hand confidently. Let's say she takes off her earphones (this becomes a hook).

Then, I spike her emotions with:

"Hey, how are those working for ya?" She'll answer with some shit. I then go with, "Well, I tried to get me one of those to keep these girls from hitting on me all of the time." She laughs (IOI).

Then I would go for the escalation with:

I touch her on the shoulder for a second and say, "Hey, I thought you might be nice to know so I was just checking to see if you are."

Then repeat and start screening.

And this is just a fuckin' example. If she has earphones on, use BL (body language) to disarm her.

OK, good luck.

Just thought of this now (I might have picked it up from somewhere along the line, don't recall, I think its original.) When you see a girl with headphones, walk up and lean against something (if this is possible) and mouth words like you are having a conversation with her. Eventually, she will catch on that you are trying to talk to her and she will take out her headphones. Initially, she will be confused when you continue to just move your lips but she will probably end up laughing if you stop after a bit and flash a huge smile :D Follow up with:

"I can't believe you were gullible enough to fall for that one, sheesh. Anyway, since you have me here for a second, you can help me before I've got to get going seeing as I need a female opinion on something....[cue random opener here]."

I think that it not a smooth attempt at all. Maybe say something completely off the cuff like....I said i love you and that will entrigue her to say what? and you reply that you love the way she was dance walking to the music and even though everyone else was laughing at her you thought it was cute.

I tried to stand in the direct way of the Ipod girl and mouthed something with a shrug. asked for directions, talked about moving to the city. asked how long she's been here. got a number, never called.

Here::
Motion yourself taking out imaginary headphones, she'll take hers out.

Say, "Heyy, do those things work??"

She'll be like "What?!" since they obviously do..

Then say, "Well lately a ton of chicks have been hitting on me and I thought if I wore headphones, girls would leave me alone."

She'll LAUGH and you hooked her with that opening.
Why else would hot girls wear headphones to a social and public place??
