Post subject:  Know what to do but can't do shit
Hi I'm new to the forum and to the game at all (less than a week).
I've read The Game and read a ton of other information online and I know the whole method. I have some openers and negs memorized and I'm a real good magcian. I ththeoretically know exactly what to do but when it comes to actually doing it I'm useless. I have a friend who's pretty good at this and he's trying to help me and guide me but even with his help I'm still useless. At first wwe thought I could try just approaching with magic just for the experience and I couldn't do it so he gave me easier things and in the end he told me to find someone hot and just ask her the time and go. Couldn't do it. It's really frustrating and depressing. And the fucked up thing is that if a girl talks to me no matter the subject I play her like a pro but when I am the one who actually needs to approach I can't do shit.
Do you have any ideas of what to do and how to get over this annoying as hell approach anxiety?

Well the answer is that you've been doing it less than a week. It will take a while. You could read 100 books on how to play the guitar but that doesn't mean you'll play like jimmy page the moment you pick up a guitar

1. The MOST IMPORTANT THING that you can do is to STOP PUTTING EMPHASIS ON THE PICKUP and HAVE FUN.

The best way to attract a woman is to be confident and not be fixated on how they view you.

If you're focused on having fun and enjoying YOURSELF instead of running some routine and hoping to get a response then I can guarantee you'll do 10x better.

You still got lots of approach anxiety. Why not reduce your exercise to a simpler one, albeit the simplest of all: just walk up to random strangers, male, female, kids, whoever, and just smile and say hi... Start from here, then work your way up. Knowing theory is one part, doing the practical is another. :-)

you are an introvert. i'm the same way. sometimes it's the best way to be even in a club. but if you want the balance then your friend is right you just have to start simple. The term that you are look for is getting in "state" so research on this forum different techniques for getting in state. that's how you can get over AA for an introvert.

its been said before. just do it.

start with going with the intention of just messing up
or
just give compliments as you walk past people.

if that is still trouble start with making eye contact as you walk past people
