Here's my presepective:

In a standard situation, if the girl leaves the interaction: the correct response would have been to either (A) keep on eye on her and wait till she sits down and then reapproach her or (B) follow after her and stop her "dead in her tracks".

Now although following after her would destroy my value and make me a bit creepy: I'd say it's still worth it because at least now I have a chance with her. While, if I don't reapproach her then she's gone forever and I have 0% of getting her. In regards to the value loss caused by me opening her twice, I'll have to use really strong disqualifiers, teases and perhaps negs to regain my value.

However, in this situation my rationalization for not reapproaching her, right away was because there were many other pretty girls in the room who were watching and if she were to reject me (after I walk upto her) infront of them then I'll lose my chances with all the girls in the room.

IOI Pinging is a very interesting notion. It's testing to see if the girl will be responsive to me or not. It's a preapproach that prepares you for the real approach later on.

I agree with Jeff that my main problem is that I'm not direct enough and I don't state my intent. However, this is intentional in a college enviornment (where gossip runs rampant) because I don't want to be seen as the sleazy pickupartist who has a crush on everyone. Nevertheless, perhaps I should have used a semi-direct opener like "You have a nice style." Which is a level below "You look cute. ;)"

I don't understand why opening up a girl in a high-pressure enviornment (where there are a lot of people watching) is different than a low pressure enviornment. If someone were to explain the game differences to me, I would be grateful.

"The sexy yoga Bitch". Here it's already a fail. Drop this mindset and look at women like people not some "bitch" or a piece of meat you can bang. It is possible to connect with the girl on a deeper level for only one night without hurting her feelings if you're really good at it, but only if you change the way you perceive them.

Two types of vibes, "I don't care about how you react to me" and "I don't care about YOU as a person" are two completely different things. The first will boost your game a lot, and the second will just make you a complete asshole.

I don't know much about your mindset, I may be wrong, but "the sexy yoga bitch" made me assume this, and if you're giving these vibes off to her, she'll definitely not be pleased with it, especially if you're hitting on her when lots of people are seeing it.

In a high pressure environment they are fearing that they'd be viewed as a slut if they started a random conversation with a complete stranger because most of society is judgemental like that. If you give off the correct vibes, you can defuse this. In cases like this you should either be more subtle e.g. having an excuse to talk to her from where you could later shift, or able to quickly isolate without many people noticing.

Hey thanks for clarifying that up for me :) because I didn't know the difference between gaming girls in lower-pressure environments and gaming girls in higher pressure environments but it seems that the difference is that when there are more people watching the girl is less likely to show interest because she doesn't want to be perceived slutty and as lower social status. I did not know that before.

Also I did not what excuse I could use to get her into the conversation in that situation. Perhaps an opinion opener would have worked better: because it shows less interest than telling her to join our conversation directly.

One thing I learned on the field is that there are no inherently "good" and "bad" openers, but the way you open has to met the criteria of the situation. In a high pressure environment "Hey, come here" really comes off as bossy and turns on the alarm for the girl that you want something from her. An opinion opener or anything less direct would probably have worked better in this case. But besides that there can be several other reasons why she was not receptive, sometimes you can do everything right and it still doesn't work out. Just keep up :)

Thanks for your constructive feedback. Next time in this situation, I will try something that is less direct, and puts less pressure on her. A simple opinion opener would have worked well in this situation: where I'm with a guy and there are a lot of people nearby.

Definitely get rid of your outdated music my friend. Makes the videos annoying and non informative. By saying join our conversation that didn't really give her a reason to join the conversation. You should have either went Direct and told her how cute she was and that you wanted to talk to her. That or go indirect by getting her opinion and doing a cold read about her.
