So basically im at uni in scotland, and believe it or not, there are decent girls. Now, there is this dancer who is very good friends with a girl who lived near one of my best mates last year, but that girl doesnt seem to like me. I have tried to talk to her to be social in the past just if we are at the same predrinks or whatever but she just doesnt seem interested in getting to know me and I always get a feeling like she is judging me when I see her. She doesnt even look up now when I walk past her on the street.

SOOO this dancer: HB8 at least, cute, never spoken to her, I only just became "aware" of her, she is always with the other girl. I really want to chat to her but I get the feeling her friend would just, i dunno, look down on me and probably make me feel really uncomfortable till i leave the set.
I have been extremely busy taking big exams the last 6 weeks so havent been out at all and so havent really been in the game this term at all.

I dont even know why I am posting. I know the answer is to man up and just chat to her. AA all over again.

I guess I just wanted to let someone else know how I am feeling. Cheers for reading

Just ask yourself this: are you a man who needs the other girl's
Approval?
If you are, then make her your friend; easy as phuck, but remain having a higher value.
If not: fuck her friend walk up to her; be spontanious, fun, manly reach for her hand and ask her: who are you? Look in her eyes deeply and tellher you need some help on BS (where's the supermarket or whatever) while she talking tell her, naw just fucking with you, you're cute; unless you've got something super important to do: down for some coffee?

Personally man; there are sooooooo many ways to get the job done, however all these strategics have one thing in common: smile, step up and have self confidence

Who cares if you're stalking her? (well most will, but I guess a man can be obsessed by a woman)

However just step up to her and make sure you will realize this: again, there are several routines;all with one bottom line though:
-Be interesting
-Be FUN
-When you're there, imagine you standing in a strong position (thinking about your feet are growing roots in the ground might help), but relaxed too
-And one more thing which I've experienced which helps too: when you're telling something, tell it in an intriguing way; facial expressions, wait for them to nod etc.

One more detail: does she know you? Does she know who you are? Have you ever had eye-contact?

Eye contact a few times on nights out.but i never capitalised. Im trying to get rid of the insecurity that she probably thinks im weird.

Hey King !

I'm from scotland too bro just outside glasgow :) ! nice to see another scot on here. ANYWAYS!

Your problem here is you have built her up onto a pedestal when really shes only an HB8 ! The friend who doesnt like you is also an easy way to get around it and just confront her... excuse me do you have a problem with me atall?

How i would advise you to approach HB8 is this - you say shes a dancer right so shes obviously a good dancer.

START BUSTING SOME DAFT CRAZY MOVES - mow the lawn, screw the lightbulb... all the classics ! tell her your a better dancer and you'll give her some lessons :) !

Hi guys. Sorry for being short with message yesterday. I was pretty busy. Actually although she wasnt out last night, it was a great night to start getting confidence back. Chatting to loads of people. Had some girl grabbing my bum at the bar.

I also feel more confident walking around. Like this week, if i want to do something, ive just done it. This is after reading a few confidence posts on here. Babysteps but still good

And stenic, i used to live just outside glasgow too. Love it there.

I am very grateful. If anything, its just nice to talk to people bout this kind of thing. You guys are really helping me get out of my slump of confidence. Very encouraging answers from you all :(
