Lets say at 19:00, after comming home from work, having worked a long shift, 10 hours on the computer nonstop. HB8.5 neighbour is accompanied by HB-best friend HB9, they try to move in the appartent near yours. Girls apparently having a hard time carrying big paper boxes and holdall bags into formerly empty aprtment. What would you do? Say Hi, and say your name and offer help? Say Hi, and invite her for coffe for the next day? Say hi, recover your energies, offer help and start gaming them? Appologise and go home since you know you will be able to catch them later? |

But isn't that a little too attention seeking? Most people are outcome seeking and giveing in order to get. And it is allmost a social hoop isn't you must jump unconditionally since the Knight in Shinning Armour must allways help the village girls. |

Okay, dude. Helping a woman is just common courtesy, aside from the nice thing to do. Just walking past and nodding in their general direction, if you see that they're struggling, IMO is just not the best move. Just help them out, introduce yourself, convo ensues. It's not hard or anything, as mentioned earlier, it is quite good icebreaker actually. Why do people always assume neg'ing and being a dick is the only way to get laidl? The next time you think something is needy, try this. If you were struggling with some heavy box, would you have found it to be strange or needy if someone helped you? The knight in shining armor doesn't help village girl, he goes off to save the princess and to be heard of never again. Just help the ladies out next time will ya? You doing them a favor by letting them hang out with you, so what if you're helping them in the process. |
