In the video clip of "the socially calibrated woman" in Mystery Method DVD collection, Mystery claims that a girl is hit on often(To be conservative, 15 times a week), week after week, month after month, she will start to recognize patterns. However, in my country, in my city, I rarely see that girls are approached/hit on by male strangers in public, like restaurants, cafe shops, on the street, shopping malls, subway. Even a girl is beautiful, I rarely see a beautiful girl to be hit/approached by male strangers, because being beautiful means intimidating. However, girls are often hit on/approached on the Internet or on mobile phones, because we use apps that can allow us find strangers nearby and initiate chat with them. Online dating/relationship is very popular in my country. Of course that doesn't mean a girl in my city is very friendly and opening when they are approached in public, they are not that easy, that are not easy to be approached, not because they have been approached/pestered by many male strangers many times, but they don't feel comfortable to be approached by male strangers, they are not used to being approached by male strangers, they are cautious, they are afraid that the male stranger may be a bad guy, may swindle her out of money, may harm her, etc. What's your opinion? |
