Does breaking rapport mean being rude and unfriendly? Don't you think that it may backfire? When you go to the field, you should smile, right? So since you are smiling, how can you throw unfriendly/rude words and break rapport? Is it congruent?

Hey I like the way your thinking transforming. Breaking rapport is about being funny/witty and not rude and obnoxious. There is a fine line you play when breaking rapport you want to shock her but not insult and it will take time which will earn you calibration points. My recommendation is break rapport until you destroy it and than work backwards. Once you know where the line is tone it down a hair and start building rapport and comfort.

How to break rapport? How to do that? What if you give her a negative impression when you break rapport and she basically doesn't want to know you after that?

Example: What do you do here? just stuff.
Break rapport here; she is giving you very little information and its almost showing disinterest.

How to break rapport?

What's the relationship among breaking rapport, neg theory, and disqualification theory?
Negging is a way to break rapport while the immediate purpose of breaking rapport is to let the target think that you are not after her, right?

Breaking Rapport at first seems counterintuitive however consider the alternative. A girl at work who flirts with you a lot (this happens to me all the time) and being a man of High Value I have little time for them. Let's say you suck up to her all the time and always give her validation, this works mostly but imagine you say "well you are so darn important" when she is being a brat instead of giving her validation and sucking up you say something cocky to break rapport which kinda feels like the wrong thing to say since you aren't sucking up. But breaking rapport with a girl at work is very effective just like being in Set. You don't know them like a co-worker so the dynamics are different but at least you are making a good first impression by getting off on the right foot. Remember always sucking up to chicks will make you into a Nice Guy but being Cocky while they are being mean or a brat will make you more and more Alpha the more you practice breaking rapport the better you will get at it. But don't overdo it.
