I'm in college and there is a girl in my class who I find very attractive. I was able to start one or two conversations with her from the start of the semester so any later interactions wouldn't be weird. I talk to her here and there for a few minutes and we say hi when we see each other or whatever. **I noticed she smiles when she says hi, but who doesn't right?** However its hard to start a conversation or keep one for long since we're both off to our next class or whatever. It also makes it a little bit harder because she has a girl friend in the class so i find myself talking to both and not directly her. Any advise? FYI: She is Korean and just moved here from Korea around 2-3 years ago. *if that makes any difference** |

When you're talking to both of them speak facing both of them so your voice projects outward but lock eyes with her specifically until she breaks the gaze, the longer the better. Or if they are sitting indirectly apart project your voice toward the friend but keep your gaze locked into your main targets eyes. It's multitasking so practice talking while gazing in a different direction beforehand so you don't trail off when you're speaking. It's also good to use in groups to keep everyone feeling included. |
