Post subject:  From what planet are you from?

Lately I have been trying this new thing for night game and the thing is aproaching a group of girls and asking them in the most suave and serious manner: Excuse me from what planet are you from? or Are you from outer space?

The responses so far have been close to disastrous, they answer stuff like: "from this planet" or "from mars" or the most original has been "from soho planet" and they leave creepied out like if I was high on some strange drug.

However, I think there is something there and any toughts on it would be very apreciated.

Actually, this line can be a good neg, not an approach.
For example, when you approach her and start building rapport, if she says anything that creeps you out, you can simply throw in "Are you sure you're on the right planet?" or "We're on planet Earth, are you sure you're one of us?"

Simply because using this line as an approach is way too awkward. But that's just my opinion.

Hey man, I guess you're right. I didn't tought of it as a neg but I will try it that way. I guess that using it as an aproach can be really awkward.

Thanks for replying

Or else ask them "what are you doing on my planet?" or " what are you doing in my town? Can I see your permit?"

If it ends bad, why keep using it?

Doesn't even make sense, 'outer space' isn't even a planet.

Don't use a line that makes it easy for a woman to focus on the fact that some randomer has just come up to talk to them with no specific reason other than to ask something stupid and irrelevant. Don't use a line that gives them the opportunity to or even the reason to shoot you down in one sentence. You may aswell open with "There's a party at your ankles and your pants are invited."

Use something that makes them think about an answer, that disarms them and isn't blatantly telling them all you want is to desperately talk to them.

Use a canned line like "My best friends gf is bisexual and she kisses other girls... Do you think that's cheating?" you'll get better reactions and get an honest answer. They'll be dedicated to thinking about this serious question and giving you a meaningful answer.

hey man, like I said in a lot of my replys it is a good neg instead of an opener. You are completely right on the first paragraph. Whenever I have used it, it appear like if I was the one from another planet. Abuout using "There's a party at your ankles and your pants are invited." I guess it's way to straight forward as an opener and a bit cheezy as a teaser or wathever. However
the bisexual thing it's a golden opener.

Thank you very much for replying and I guess that the conclusion to this is that it can be ca neg but deffinatelly not an opener.

The "You may aswell open with there's a party at your feet..." was sarcasm man.

It's not the greatest opener because you're limited as to where it can lead. However that being said, you deliver anything with bags of confidence it shouldn't really matter. Ask the girl in the morning if she can remember the first thing you said to her and I'll bet she doesn't remember.

Oh and DON'T use that canned opener suggested above, it's around 5 years out of date and you can guarantee some of the girls you talk to will have heard it before.

that could be a good opener. to begin with you don’t have to say anything amasing if you are a beginner. who cares. if you approach you are already doing eighty percent of success. you are learning.
but the opener, i do not see why it is good one.

i think a better opener would be. i come up with it right now.
i like this planet. do you?

try it and tell us how that was like.

That sounds great man, however I'm not quite shure how to make a transition whitout saying something without sounding high on lsd. Like saying: This planet is a lot more habitable than the others I have visited and the just comparing random (actual) facts that make other planets in the solar sistem inhabitable.

haha

well you started the theme. haha

i duno, you don’t know until you do it. and besides, it’s not that much of a difference what you say as long as you care about what you say. you can make many think work if you care about what you say.

that might come across silly.

try a few things, see what you like.
