| Post subject: | Approach during a Pub-Quiz Night |
Hi, a friend (no wing material) and me were at the pub yesterday. There was a pub quiz and I got the impression that a girl from one of the other teams (3 guys, 3 gals) was glancing towards us. She once even asked for our team name. Else there was no verbal communication between the teams as this can be jiudged as cheating. We won the quiz and my friend went home but out of curiosity I wanted to chat this girl up. Without much ado and therefore no plan at all I walked up to the table and sputtered a lame opener ("So how did it go for you?"). She replied "Better don't ask, but congratulations on winning". I then could only say "I wasn't fishing for compliments", which was even lamer than the opener and ejected out of shame after a few more sentences. OK, I'll scratch this one up as a burn and fail. But how do I approach a woman under conditions like these, when she is sitting at a table with 5 other persons? |

If they lose: "Hi, you were doing an awesome distraction plan, we almost lost when you smiled at us" If they win: "Hi, you did an awesome distraction plan, you made us lost when you smiled at us" Teasing + complement Then start a normal conversation and don't over complement the girl |
