This is constantly a problem for me. And its starting to get annoying. Like, if my friends introduce to me to their female friends, I have no problem talking to them. making them laugh, etc. But when it comes to me doing the approaching (for example at the mall or hookah bar, w.e) I just freeze. Maybe its confidence issues. Idk. I just need help. Tips to help me get over this. I've seen The Pick up Artist (1st season, planning on getting the second season soon) and im currently reading Neil Strauss's The Game. Id really like to get into this. But I know i cant unless i conquer this. So, anyone? Anything? Some say I should just approach, like everyone. That the more I approach, the more used to it ill get. Do you agree?? Thanx in advance everyone |

To me it is helpful to go with a wing, i just feel more relaxed(and also we take turns) also even before i went into pickup i practiced this: i call it a virtual sargent, for example you see in movies with military theme how sargent is ordering cadets around, next time you get approach anxiety try to tell yourself "you will approach now soldier, that's an order" i found it helps me, i do not use it as much now because, true it gets more natural, but for a first few times, it can do you good. |

This PUA stuff doesn't teach you how to be a real man. All you need to do right now is say hello to 50-100 women and walk away, thats it. DONT just say hello to hot ones, just say hi or hello to ALL girls you see; hello, then walk away. After that, say "hello, how are you?" then walk away. |

I agree. I've been to small towns and people greet each others all the time. I would go for a jog in a place I've never been before, and the people there would greet "Howdy neighbor" "good morning". I've learned to convey that same friendly attitude (ever been in an elevator and nobody is talking to each others?). If you do so, it's not threatening, and can be perceived as old-fashioned and gentleman-like.When you're at a mall and cross paths with a pretty girl, just say "hi" or "how's it going" and keep walking. When I'm at a bar waiting for a drink and there's a girl next to me, I say "hi, how's your day" then look back at the bartender. Important thing is turn your head, not your body, then continue doing what you were doing. Interesting enough, sometimes these casual greetings work as openers too, especially at the bar. While a girl is waiting for her drink, sometimes she'll gladly talk about her day. |

I think tihs one will work the best and will try it myself to!And else maybe take it one step further. Just ask every woman a simple question like: ''Hi excuse me do you know where I can find blablabla?'' Say thanks and walk away. I'm trying that as well! |
