Post subject:  is it ok to lie about your age?

I'm new to this forum. I need some advice. Is it OK to tell a what lie about your age? I'm 33, but I like younger girls. It's gonna be hard to get an 18 year olds number for me if I tell her how old I am. Does this matter? Also, I live in a small town, so I could easily be caught in this lie sine a lot of people already know my true age. Help!!!

I would say no, it just reeks of insecurity. It's been my experience that everything we're afraid of doing, can usually be turned around to work to our advantage. Say you're afraid the girl is going to say LOL 2 OLD GRANDPA, instead you could frame it like, I'm an experienced man of the world, and I've got enough experience to rock your mind, body, and soul, girl. lol.

In the opposite situation, young man older woman, you gotta frame it like, yo I'm a virile young man, I can fuck like a stallion.

If you can find a way to put it aside somehow by dismissing it when she asks about the age then its fine.

Just an idea for everyone else out there something i do in the opening stage of talking to a nice girl is when i ask for her age she says for example " ohh im 20, how old are you "? i will day " guess " and she might say 21? and i will use a hand or finger signal pointing up or down until she gets my age.
What i am doing is changing the conversation abit and making it fun/ entertaining for her kinda like a small game, its subtle but its affective.
You then might ask " do i look 26 to you if you seen me randomly walking down the street would you guess i was 26" ?.
It seems to work for me anyway.

If you're looking for a relationship or a steady gf don't. They'll find out sooner or later.

If you just want to get a number and possibly get a piece go ahead. Like the other guy said, kind of insecure, but to each their own. I'm not one to judge other's morals.....

Don't lie. It's try-hard.

Don't lie. 33 is not that old. Though what are you doing going after 18 year olds? Plenty of 22-24yr olds who would not care that you are 33 at all. 18 is a bit of a long shot unless you are just going for an f-close day 1, then, might as well be creepy

Leaving it to her imagination is probably the best way to handle it. Friend of mine just never told an 18yr old his age (he was pushing 40 when they started) and they are now happily married. Things would have been different if he'd told her his age, and probably would have gone really bad if he'd lied and been caught.

Not that you're looking for marriage, just pointing out dodging questions might be better than lying. Especially if you can do a cocky funny dodge...

Lying is a sign of insecurity and neediness. You're older. You can give it to her like a real man, unlike the little boys her age. Be confident about who you are. You are 33. Be cool with it. You're not getting any younger.

Agreed. Personally I believe if you have to lie, you have a weak game.

What I've used to get older girls is when they ask for my age I just hold firm to saying its a secret and maybe I'll tell them and just be playful about it like how most women are about age , helped me f-close a girl.

Lies are for chumps who need crutches. I'm 34 and I date 18 up to 40. It's true that some younger girls judge you based on age, but face it, if you want to date young your going to deal with immaturity. I do find with younger women, at least for me, taking a slower more relaxed approach seems to mitigate the age difference. For instance I would not try to ONS a 19 yr old in day game, but maybe at a house party or club after a night of social proofing and flirting where she presents herself for the taking. On the other hand seducing a mid 20s HB middle of the day is quite easy with the right circumstances.

One other thing to consider is the younger you go the better your lifestyle approach to game has to be. If an 18yr old is going to choose a 30s something over one of their peer crushes, it's going to be because they are clout, rep, impressive eye candy to rub in their friends noses and other superficial bs like that, at least in their own minds. Where as a mid 20s girl has started a career and is more interested in settling down under peer pressure of friends and fam, so the are more analyzing based on success and potential hubby material, even if its only a fantasy for the eve.

If you are more interested in LTR, then younger is much harder, but again take it extra slow and let them get comfy with you first.

I would first deflect the question.
I usually say: "Uh uh, don't you know it is not polite to ask the question to a gentleman? Or was it to a lady? Anyways...."
Or "I feel 20 [make it an obvious exaggeration] inside, and that's what counts, don't you agree?"
If you have to say something about your age, you still don't have to answer with the same precision as to a cop who sees you with a drink.
Whatever you say, if it's not your true age, say it playfully, as to show that you are not seriously trying to deceive anyone.

My two cents.
