Best way to approach someone who works with customers is just to ask how they are, they interact with people all day but none of them give a **** about her. she'll appreciate it and you'll immediately stand out to her.

I usually ask for a number by saying "Can I have your number?" and have my voice inflection change so that it sounds like I am asking a question so she knows I am asking a question.

It sounds like you already have this girl targetted and you are going to go shop just to get her number. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS GIRL!!!!!

So talk to her. See if she qualifies for you. Find out what she does when she's not working. Work it like it's ANY OTHER SITUATION but one that has poor logistics. There is nothing different when picking up a girl at her work other than realizing they have to be nice to you because it's their job. The more you can get her to talk about things that are personal or unprofessional, the better off you are. So if she talks about getting drunk or going to a bar or being hung over at work in front of you, that's a good thing.

Find common ground, or find what evokes her happiness, and attain high interest levels by introducing her to something knew. OR!!!!! Find out something about HER that interests YOU and have her introduce you to it, such as a new venue or activity.
