I need some material for approaching at grocery stores. I prefer canned material since I don't have the skills yet to come up with good conversation starters on the spot. Something that starts with "Can I get you opinion on...." that could lead to a discussion may be best. Thanks |

"I'm having friends over and need to make home made dip, any suggestions?" Instant conversation...and a tour of the store! |

The best thing about approaching women in the grocery stores is that their guard is down. They are not dressed up from head to toe and are in shopping mode. Depending on what section of the grocery store you are in, just ask an opinion opener. Make sure you have some transition material otherwise you will end up talking about one or two things the entire time. And if there is no transition, there will really rough when you go for the number close. Go for the number if you pick up some IOI's. I would also look for the social pressure, when asking for the number. If there are a lot of people around, she will feel embarrassed, awkward and could turn your offer down. Hope that helps. |

Man forget going to the club to get you something new. When I want me something new, I go get me a basket, and go walk around Walmart. All the women be in Walmart, ya heard me? I've never given it much though. Maybe you could think of different sections of the store and have pre-loaded semi-situational openers, like "How do I tell if a kiwi is ready to be baked into a pie?" "Do turkey necks taste any different than chicken necks?" "Should I buy Hyrdox or Oreos?" "What is imitation crabmeat made out of, really?" read the label, "MULLET?! Ewwww!" and put it back. I honestly find the grocery store to be a little tough, because generally when people go (myself included) it's all business. Wanted to add that I also see very few people worth dating in the grocery stores around here. Maybe beuacse it's not Whole Foods (aka, Whole Paycheck). |
