Opinion opener, wide rapport building, no sexual intent, lack of compliance tests, no leading and no kino. The interaction ends with a number close. The guy is happy with this. I'm trying to understand why they do this if there's a particular reason? I find that in clubs, if I approach semi-direct with an assumption, or a question, followed by a challenge, heavy kino from the start and some leading I tend to end up taking the girl home. I never bother asking for numbers unless I have no alternative. I have lots more to learn, and I tend to go for students 18 to 21 years of age, I am 29. I'm just interested in other peoples approaches. Any tips, would be greatfull. |

You are right. Only go for numbers if the logistics are against you. Only go further number when you absolute tried everything you can to take her home but just couldn't. This is usually due to bad logistics. Usually these numbers are legit and the girl will not flake because the girl will know what will go down the next time you met. But if you go for the number with out going all out ... usually these numbers will flake because the girl will think, "Why did he get my number? Am I plan b? Is he going to go try to hit up other girls and use me as back up?" or Guys get the number because they are running out of game and they want to leave at a high note. In the end its beneficial to go all out and try to take the girl home. Only get the number if you just can't pull her home. That way the phone number is legit because you ran a complete game on her. Keep it up! |

Thankfully I live in a town where the spots for a night out are all of </= 0.7mi from my apartment and taxis are readily available. With that being said, a lot of the girls running around aren't from town and have to take a train home before the bars close. Most of the time I can convince them to take a walk uptown but logistics do work against me at times. All said and done I'm located in close proximity to go in for the kill. If I can't walk out with them right there I'll number close to meet up after. If they must go back for whatever reason I'll take the number to set up 2nd meeting that she come early, see my place (nothing happens), take her out for the night, come back later. |

My guess is that guys who study PU (Myself included), study PU to get one of the following things: Intimacy with women, Sex, Love and Ego boost... Lets admit it enjoyable sex has very little to do with how hot looking and physically attractive the woman that is having sex with us is... Still most of us heterosexual guys are looking to be in a relationship with a hot looking chick... That is because we want to feed our ego, somehow our perceived respect and value in society is determined by the physically attractiveness of the women we are with. So to answer the title question of this tread: 1 Getting numbers is a big Ego boost, feels good, feels like we are better than the guy who could not do it. 2 Sometimes logistics do not work for us and a phone # can give us the chance to have a later date we the women we had an interaction with(from the date to the Bed there is a very large step, larger and more difficult than opening and getting the phone number in my opinion, but for newbies getting the number might be a good and measurable objective to keep track that they are moving in the right direction ). |

Nah, I'm just in it to bang. But I do like getting numbers. It is a big ego boost and just fun to talk about the next day. I'm thinking to just start collecting receipts/napkins/papers with numbers on it and make a coffee table. |

ego is one thing, but if i'm not physically attracted to a girl by her visual appearance there's no enjoyment in the sex for me, hot + good in bed is the quest we are all on, add cool person to that mix and you have the triple threat |

I'm not in the game to only fuck girls....... I'm here to build a big social circle, people i can hang out with. Ofcourse i fuck some of them, but i think it is more important to get to know new people, and see how it goes from there...... Going in with the above mindstate works for me! no neediness and if you get the ball rolling it wil only roll faster! |
