I went to a yoga class this evening. After the class, the teacher said that my physique had improved after a few classes. I'm confused, was this a hit or just a compliment? |

Is this instructor somebody you would consider getting with? Has this happened before? Is this instructor your age? Is this instructor in your league? If you answered yes to all of these, take it as a hit. If not, it was probably just an off-hand compliment. |

Yes. If anything, I have a crush on her.

Not really, since I've never been to fitness classes until now.Quote:

She's probably a few years younger than I am.

I'd say she's about a 7, maybe an 8.

I went to my dermatologist and he said my skin looks better. I think he's hitting on me too. Sure, he's a 72 y/o Jewish guy, but clearly that compliment means he's DTF. |

Ok, so there is some selective absorption going on. The fact that you are attracted, and probably falling for her, amplifies anything she says or does to you. So in that context, you just need to get MORE of these signals from her to the point where there is some kind of pattern. That's when you can really assess what the situation is. OR, say fuck it, and ask her out. Worst that can happen is you find a new hot yoga instructor. |

I hear Jewish dermatologists are hung like a light switch. |

I doubt she was hitting on you. But you can use it to build rapport. Use comments like that to open conversation and it may lead to something. |

definitely not a hit, but if you're attracted to her go up to her and say thanks for the compliment but "I wouldn't had done it without this class, you're a pretty good instructor, I owe you lunch." I don't know if you have had a conversation with her already, but something around those lines would sound good and you never know, she might say yes. |

Honestly; who cares if it was a hit or a compliment. As of now you guys relationship is just teacher and student don't go thinking ahead. Next time she say something to you along the lines of what she said last time or even if she doesn't. Just go on to ask her in ways you can improve physique and even other topics about yoga. I'm pretty sure she is passionate about it or else she wouldn't be a teacher. After talking about yoga you have to transition pretty quickly but smoothly, because just think about all the other guys that tried to get with by faking to like yoga. From there you can talk pretty much about anything, the mission is to gain rapport and do light kino!!! If you notice the convo. going on for a while like more than 10 min be the one to end it. If you did everything right and she is feeling you she may give you her number without you asking. If not, if your feeling good about the convo. or connection ask your self or continue to build rapport and ask in the future. |
