I was out at the weekend, the night was going good. I seen a 5 set (all girls) so went with an opener I had never really thought much into. An opinion opener where I ask the group if they find guys with accents more attractive then guys who dont (i have one, so i said my mates were arguing about it) It actually worked okay, however... I actually had nothing to go off after this. Anyways, I started to run out of things to say and lucky my wing clocked on it was getting stale so come in and gave me the quick exit. Just a quick question also, anything to help with nerves? ....other than drink

Practice, what your issue is you run out of the middle. That is the easiest part, especially with your opener. She probably was like oh I love accents, where are you from. Wow can this be the biggest attraction and comfort question ever.... yes it could be in case you were wondering. Her: Where you from You: Oh I am from XXX, have you ever been there... Her: Nah I really want to or Yea it was awesome You: Where abouts did you go (if she said yes) if not (and later you wnt to direct it to this... I love traveling I can't wait to go to XXX I don't know why but I am so interested about the culture and landscape and what not. Traveling is literally something I believe everyone should do. Now later in the convo to spike attraction you can say... Let's do it, well travel to XXX get married, have kids, then a horrible divorce, you can have everything but I get the dogs. Push/pull and attraction spike. break rapport

One thing that will give you confidence in set is to have enough stock canned material that you don't have to worry about coming up with things to say on the fly. Based on the context of your opener, after she tells you that she likes to travel or whatever, you can be like "Oh wow, you seem like you might be really interesting. I always ask this to cool people I meet: Tell me THREE interesting things about yourself--it can be anything." Now you sit back and relax and let her struggle to impress you and come up with things to say. Then if she draws a blank or gives you an iod like she doesn't want to play your game, you turn around and hit her with a neg like: "You can't come up with anything, eh? I guess you're not that interesting after all."
