Post subject:  Need Help Approaching Random Girls who I think are beautiful
I need help to approach random beautiful girls, I am some what new to pickup, and have done it before but not as much in person. I've attempted a few times but most of them resulted in failure, I've had 2 girls come up to me but one of them was a joke the other turned back around after finding out I was a little bit older then her >.>. Anyways I came up to a girl about 3 weeks ago at the mall, and complimented her without being a creeper or anything. Just said "sorry to interrupt but, I couldn't help to notice that you are beautiful" she said thanks, and walked away. I know rejection is common, but I felt embarrassed and was mad for a while but got over it, I'm just scared, I watched videos on pickup, and how to reduce approach anxiety I know I will always have it, but what are the best ways to increase the chances of getting a girls number?

The girl you described was probably a bitch, or simply welcomed the ego boost and moved on.

IMO, there are several approaches available:

- Indirect opener (asking for directions, asking for the time, commenting on something in the surroundings, etc.)
- Direct opener (commenting on her clothing, saying outright you think she's hot and that's why you wanted to talk to her, etc.)

You should probably introduce yourself immediately after saying she's beautiful and transition into a conversation.

Im just about to take the plunge on this one :P I have the same issue but tomorrow before I head away for the weekend I will be approaching attractive women and asking for some recommendations (Most likely mens clothing) or basically mission #4 in Styles book. (Indirect openers as ilikenamitha stated) If i don't do it or if AA kicks in I will come back and seek advice but I feel confident enough to do it, afterall their only innocent questions. And then ill just move onto mission #5 (I don't remember what it is but will wait until #4 is done)

You don't ever use the word "sorry" to open. Replace that with "Hey"

Also, "I couldn't help to notice that you are beautiful" is one of the most AFC lines I've ever heard.

The thing is, if you open weak, any girl will blow you out. What you'll start to learn as you continue opening women, is that you need to engage them in such a way that they can't easily blow you off and walk away. That's why opinion openers were invented. When you start by asking someone a question, they'll feel compelled to give you an answer. If you just say "Hey, you're hot." They'll respond with "Thanks" and then walk away.

When you approach, you need a solid approach and follow up. You have to stop them in their tracks. Interupt whatever they are doing. Draw all the attention to you. Engage them. Make them give you their full attention and answer your questions. And continue to keep them engaged by either telling them stories, listening to their stories, or asking them more questions. That's how you open a set.
