hey guys,

I went yesterday to walmart to return this item that I didn't want and the girl that worked at the return/exchange department was absolutely gorgeous. She was giving me these IOIs, for example she was smiling and all that, she asked me how my day was and I asked her how her day was and she started telling me how she was getting bored because what she was doing was getting repetitive and wanted to get out of there. Anyway, I went to buy some stuff and when I went to check out the same girl had moved from the return/exchange department to this regular check out and she waved at me and told me that she could check me out. She still was smiling at me and asked me if I was doing the no shave November thing (I am doing it) and I wanted to ask her for her phone number but I froze out because there were 4 other people behind me waiting to check out their stuff. Anyway, I am going back there and I was thinking about a pick up line because I would like to give it a shot, maybe something works out no? I was thinking maybe to use this one: "Will I get you in trouble for hitting on you because you are absolutely gorgeous and I would like to know you better"? .... and then ask her for her phone number. Should I use that or can you guys give me one that works better and has worked for you? What if she says no? What should I tell her? I don't want to look like a creep/weirdo..

Hello! I have experience on some cashiers.

I got one number like this.

I asked how she was. Then ended the conversation smiling and left store.

Outside I realized that I could ask her phone number. Going back 30 minutes later.

I didn't buy anything. I said, "I forgot something".
Then I blurted it out , with alpha tone of voice:
"Give me your number!"

She was reluctant and gave me the "I have a boyfriend" line. I asked "are you sure you don't want to give it to me" as I knew I was alpha. She gave me the number.

I never called though. I saw her couple weeks later and said "I suppose you are on my friends zone now" She said, "Yes." So basically I put her on my friends zone :)

Many cashiers seem to like me. When I talk to them I ask how they are. I need to get some variety into it and try to flirt some or something. Last time I had a short conversation I asked how she was so good with remembering which item was which.

One time a grocery store was closing and I asked the cashier girl what she was up to after work is over. She said she was going to home, smiling. I stopped the interaction there. I didn't have courage to continue it and ask her for a instant date. I think instant dates are excellent options if the store is closing soon.

There is one organic food store cashier girl to whom I have a mutual attraction. I will keep the conversation going next time I go there. Last time it was flirty and fun, but I ended it pretty hastily to prevent awkwardness.

Hmm, just bear in mind that cashiers and people in customer service type jobs are likely to be more friendly to customers, simply because it's good business sense. I'm not saying that they definitely aren't interested in you, but just because you might be getting a smile and a conversation doesn't mean that 'a lot of cashiers seem to like' you necessarily.

It's also worth bearing in mind that if a queue is busy, then a cashier might be more interested in getting you out of the way and serving other customers than chatting you up. As such, you're either going to have to get in and get the number quick, or go when the store is quiet.

Jboyy - I wouldn't say "because you're absolutely gorgeous", but the rest seems reasonable enough.

If it was me, I'd move on and hope for a chance some other day. Going back specifically for her may come off as stalkerish/needy/desperate IMO and she'll pick up on it. There's plenty of other cute chashiers out there but like someone else noted, they are paid to be nice to you.

You can also use their kindness for your advantage.

Just run your ordinary game. Be genuinely interested in the person. Not all cashiers are picked up regularly, they are ordinary human beings.
