e.g. while next to HB waiting for drinks at bar, when noticed: - [smiling] Sorry for staring [pause] but I can't believe [short pause] that you __ [insert a neg] Tried few times and worked, tho I tried only on cocky HB6 & 7. You think if delivered correctly has potential to go higher? |

even if 70% of communication is non-verbal, "sorry" is a complete turn off unless delivered in a special way, I don't see why an alpha should start an approach with a complete stranger by saying sorry even in the case he really has to say it- [smiling] Sorry for staring [pause] but I can't believe [short pause] that you __ [insert a neg] Tried few times and worked, tho I tried only on cocky HB6 & 7. Yeah exactly! You said sorry and then threw a neg. Not the best combination. You looked at the girl and smiled. You used your body language to begin the interaction. Don't then go and appologise as soon as you speak. You've done awesome in approaching but just tweak it if you are going to use it on them self-assured hb10's |

Yes you're absolutely correct. I've translated that to 'sorry' tho it's natively similar to 'excuse me', even milder. I guess I should leave that out completely when opening HB8-10... thanks. |

Sorry, but I fail to see why it's so wrong to say you're sorry. And although it didn't really gave the 'excuse me' tone the OP intended to give, it shouldn't matter. You looked at the girl and smiled. You used your body language to begin the interaction. Don't then go and appologise as soon as you speak. You've done awesome in approaching but just tweak it if you are going to use it on them self-assured hb10's It's perfectly normal to say your sorry when you're wrong, of course there are times where you can overdo it, but people don't like to get stared at, so sorry should fit in greatly, and if you still sound confident, it shouldn't even stick in the girls mind. I would be annoyed if someone who's wrong is unable to admit it, it simply shows your responsible if you do it moderately, but you shouldn't be making too many mistakes either way. I really like the idea, it shows a girl that you've shown interest, but for reasons other than she normally gets (or expects). This should subconsciously make her think that you like her at first, then discard that thought, but still leave the idea of a relationship with the person in mind. I won't say it's awesome for everyone since I haven't even tried it out for myself, and the execution is very important. But I like it. |

Why is it wrong to stare at a girl? Many pick up artists and naturals use 'eye contact' as a HUGE part of their game. They don't apologise after doing it.It's perfectly normal to say your sorry when you're wrong, of course there are times where you can overdo it, but people don't like to get stared at, so sorry should fit in greatly, and if you still sound confident, it shouldn't even stick in the girls mind. Ask yourself one thing. Why do you even need to say sorry even if you was staring? Unless she is reaching for her mace, don't worry. Just run game confidently from your first words. I totally agree with your point about 'how you say something' is more important than 'what you are saying'. You have the choice to get them both right though |

Nobody is going to look you in the face and say "yozo, saying sorry will NEVER work if you are picking up women" but you always want the best chance of picking up the girl though, right?!I've translated that to 'sorry' tho it's natively similar to 'excuse me', even milder. I guess I should leave that out completely when opening HB8-10... thanks. The more you refine your game, the more your results will improve. That is the best way of looking at it. It will also become easier. You are becoming a more self-assured person. Don't apologise for your existence. Fuck em yozo. You're the prize remember |
