| Post subject: | THE AFC DIARIES. |
So it has come to my attention that i have been lurking around this forum for like 2 years and reading material without actually using and then complaining that i am no good with women. So as from today for my own personal pleasure i will start posting my own diary on my approaches. My aim is to only approach one girl(SUCCESSFULLY) in the next 1 week. JUST ONE GIRL. I can then move on from there.... WISH ME LUCK GUYS. |

right, well remember man. don't aim for success. aiming for one successful approach is generally a bad idea. you'll become to nervous everytime you approach, if ever. |

quantity over quality. instead of aiming for one successful approach, try making 4 in a night. and don't care. just crash and burn, it's great fun and a nice way to become less nervous |

I know you're probably very nervous to even contemplate the idea of a cold approach. But here's a tip from the mystery method... go out at night with your wing. Give your wing $200, everytime you make an approach (just an approach) he pays you $20. it's a great incentitive and really helps me when i'm nervous (which is rare |

It's all about reps. Sometimes they bite. Sometimes not so much. Don't be afraid of rejection it happens. But success happens too. |

I don't like setting limits like that, and here's the reason why. Say you set a limit at 10 approaches or whatever. What if you don't reach that? Do you consider yourself a loser and give up? No, you just shrug it off and try to do better next time. And on the flipside, what if you hit your goal of 10 but then see another set of HBs at the end of the night? Are you going to not approach them and justify it by telling yourself you already hit your goal? Of course not. Setting arbitrary goals like this are either pointless, or self-limiting, imo. If you try to quanitfy your approaches and gauge your success then are holding yourself to arbitrary self-imposed standards that you may or may not live up to. That does you no good in the end. |
