"Hey beautiful" is not only not an open, but it's a true AFC move. It's like saying "Hey hot stuf"...it's pretty lame. Better would be "I just had to come over here and tell you that you are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in here."

I'm jumping back into dating and I'm wondering what are your thoughts regarding opening this way. You and a hot girl make eye contact, she smiles first and you smile then you raise your drink and say, "hey beautiful."

It's simple, I know. But would it work? When I was in a relationship I would say this to random clerks where I was a regular at a store. However, I was not interested and I have never tried it in a bar setting.

I'm thinking of trying it this weekend. Would it work? Thoughts?

I used to date a 10 and I can tell you, that I saw a guy who tried this on my exgf. he said "hi beautiful" as an opener while she was walking towards the car where I was waiting from her. She laughed at the guy and say "do you really think that could work to talk to a girl?" she entered into the car and told me this guy was a looser and she was not a piece of meat!

If I end up thinking of a new technique, I usually try it. Yes, somebody might have had a similar idea, and tried it. And if the idea is really awful, you wanna spare yourself the embarrassment. But in general, try things. As for the specifics, this whole plan seems to rely on the girl smiling, with no plan B if she doesn't. Is that on purpose (i.e. "if she doesn't smile, she is not interested, so I will just next"), or do you just lack a plan B because you have not thought of it yet?

Your line seems a little bit long when first impressions matter. With humility, to me that sounds very AFC. I would never say a girl is the most beautiful when there are so many beautiful girls around. What do others think? I like to keep things short, sweet and direct. When I used it before, I would get a, "thank you." To me this means she is interested. Of course, that is why I wait for a smile first or some other kind of flirtation. To be honest, I'm a little bit of a natural dabbling in Pick Up. I'm always excited to go out and get back into the dating scene. I'm still looking for a wing in Orange County California. Anyone in the area PM me.

Saying "second most beautiful" will only work on an 9 or 10, because that's a neg. My opening is meant for 8s primarily, which is where most girls that I would hit on would be categorized as. You don't tell them they are the most beautiful girl in the world, just the prettiest in that establishment, or even that you saw all week. Make it a limited compliment, if that makes sense. You want it to be flattering but believable and sincere on the same token.

Yea, I'm in no position to question anyone about who they've been with, since I don't know, but in general I question people's rating systems of HBs. An HB10 is either perfect and flawless, or just so damn sexy (even with her flaws) that she's a 10. A hot girl is not a 10. She's more likely an 8 or 9. And you can only reach 11 status when you have two tens standing together and one is even hotter than the other.

Turn off PUA forum and any other community related work, and this is going to seem extraordinary and borderline insane but... GO OUTSIDE, actually TALK to women, and then come back and tell us all about weather or not it worked. And please ignore the comments like "that's totally AFC". If you find her beautiful, be a man and tell her. Go out and try new things, grow as a person. Stop relying on computer jockeys and your fears. Once you've gone and tried it on 10 women, either reply here or PM me about your experiences and we can discuss a step 2 and help you figure out what you're doing right or wrong. Good luck brother! Agreeing with Mack. Even though some verbal things are 'cheesier' than others, the verbal aspect of the game is so overrated. Youtube Simple Pickup if you don't know them and it'll confirm that even though it matters what you say, it doesn't nearly matter as much as you think. Go out, do, improve confidence and game. Alternatively don't worry about what you're going to say, since it's really not all that important. You can not say a word and k-close if you want to. Not with every girl of course, but with the ones that like you and are worth investing in.
