Let me start off with describing myself. I am 27 with a bit of shyness but can still meet the ladies. It's usually after a couple drinks after I loosen up at a bar or party. For the most part I can carry a conversation for a while but after a certain point I hit a wall. Getting a number isn't the easiest thing but I've managed. My sex life is crap and I have no game as you would imagine. I've always been more of a "keep sharing interests and talking to see if there's anything than start dating" kinda guy which has only work for me in my one and only real relationship. I wasn't quite sure where to put this post but I figured this might be the best place since I really haven't tried anything. This lady friend is something I can see a future with but I am just about at the point of moving on but still would like some outside advice. Now to my situation.... So I've known this girl for about 6 years through mutual friends (friends brothers now ex... if that makes sense. And no I'm not close with the ex). We only hung out at parties and never shared more than "hi" between each other because she was in a relationship and that's a no no for me. We now work with each other for the past year and half. So naturally we've become closer since we see each other often. We have an almost daily text with each other with small talk either at work or outside work. Since we've worked together we've hung out a few times in a social setting like a bar with her friends and mine. Only a couple times by ourselves which would be a movie or dominoes. I was to much of a pansy to try anything so that doesn't help the friend zone. I haven't directly told her that I would like more but would hint via text with sexual innuendos in which I would get a neutral response. In our texts she almost always starts out with "what you doing tonight?" which I play all wrong and just go with small talk. Blah. At work she's constantly comes to visit and make small talk which typically stays to that. I've always sensed that she's into me with body language, how she talks to me and the fact she's told me she's attracted to darker men. I'm a dark skinned Portuguese. I know I should just sac up but what would be the best way to approach this situation? She's potentially coming to a party this weekend that I will be at which is when I would like to approach her with something. I guess "how" would be my question. Sorry for the drawn out story but there is a lot to this situation and I could have included much more detail but figured what was said is enough. Thank you |

Look Bro, this gal IS interested in you! Your going to have to pull your head out of your ass and make a move SOON! Or lose all hope forever. But I think you know this! that's why your here? Okay, NOW what is your biggest fear of what may happen, IF you did make a move? Are you afraid she will bite you? Tell all your friends you have a small dick? Run you over with her car? Ridiculous! |

I would wait for a moment that you two are alone. Hopefully there's at least a slightly romantic SPAM to it. Then tell her, "You know what I've always wanted to do?" She'll be like "What?" Then you say "THIS" and lean in a put a big kiss on her lips. I think it'll work because it sounds like she likes you and there is some built up sexual tension that needs to be released. |

I know I shouldn't be afraid of anything but I guess I am in a way. Rejection is something that I used to take pretty hard which is something I need to overcome. Any texting advice? It has never been my strong side other than small talk. I do like your approach puaninja and will use it next time we have a such setting. Thank you. |
