Hi,

someone told me this opinion opener but it doesnt go well in english

ill translate it but realize that in hebrew this question is really difficult to answer.

"היי היה לנו ויכוח עכשיו אולי תוכלי/ו לעזור,

איך אומרים פות ברבים?"

now it works terrible in english but here it goes:

"hey, me and my friend just had discussion maybe you can help,

how do you say vagina in plural?"

Can anyone who understands hebrew rate this?

yes I can, dude its not good with all the respect. youll just come off as an asshole cuz its way to sexual, and its telegraphing to much interest. you can go with any opener, even in hebrew.. as long as its not telegraphing interst, thats the whole idea of indirect approach.

you can take any english opener and translate it, like I do :)

שאלה זריזה, מה אתן חושבות על גבר שלובש חולצות ורודות? כי יש לי חבר ש........ ואז אתה ממשיך עם סיפור כלשהוא.

LOL thats not a crappy hebrew at all :)

It's just that most routines/openers/etc just sound really stupid when translated

besides, why opening with a sexual content shows interest if its just a general question? on most post i've seen people are talking that its good to take the conversation to a sexual direction.
