I have a question, prior to full on approaching a woman that you spotted half a block away coming in your direction.

Do you actually look at her the whole time until you open her. or do you ignore her and then at the last moment turn to her and open her.

what s the best way you guys do it.

cause sometimes if i look at girls for too long then they avoid eye contact..

i guess you should hold eye contact for 2 or 3 seconds and a smile at the end any longer might be creepy and the smile is probably essential i am not a pua btw just sayin what works for me :)

You can just glance every few seconds to track them until you are within range to stop them, like you would if you were walking towards your buddy. You wouldn't stare at him, you would keep track of where he is and focus on navigating the other foot traffic.

I like to have presences. Therefore, I keep direct eye contact with the girl all the time and I go in direct. I come in bold and my body language is open. Works for me. Try it

Walk the way that makes you feel comfortable, who the hell is she to judge you by how you walk?

Just dont stare at her all the time, you might come of as creepy.

What I do in this situation is to make eye contact from the moment I see her and if she's looking back smile a little bit/look approachable and relaxed (best way to do that is clear your mind). Her returning your eye contact or/and smile is an IOI.
I then ignore her until she's about 10 feet away (like you guys said "keeping track of where she is") and then I look at her to make eye contact and if she's looking back, smile and say "hi" or run an opener like "hey, you remind me of someone..."
