Post subject:  Possible IOI?

So I am leaving my class today and notice that a cute girl from that class is walking behind me about thirty feet or so. We have spoken in class before but I have never tried to run any game, but I have not shyed away from talking to her either, basically I have just kept it casual.

Today I decided to slow down a bit and let her catch up to me, opening her when she was next to me about something she had said in class previously. Immediately when she starts talking to me she starts snapping her fingers on both hands, which seemed to be some kind of a nervous tick. My question basically is whether or not that was an IOI, and whether or not any nervous tick caused by interaction with me would be an IOI. Could it simply be that she is a shy person (though she doesn't seem that shy in class)?

My game still sucks, but I'm pretty good at reading IOI's. From the sound of it I really don't think that's an IOI at all...she probably just felt like cracking her fingers, I do it all the time.

More than likely she was nervous! Being nervous is an IOI IMHO, however others may think differently. Approach her again once or twice and see how she reacts, she should be a little more relaxed next time. If she is then you can be pretty sure it was that she was just nervous.

Peace...

See here is the thing, she wasn't cracking her knuckles, which people do all the time, she was snapping, which I have never seen her do. I am going to assume it was an IOI. In my opinion, it would be better to assume it was when it really wasn't, than to assume it wasn't when it really was.
