I asked a HB from work to lunch. She said yes but asked if it could be 'next week' because she wasn't feeling very well and wasn't eating much. I thought - YES and told her I was looking forward to the rain check. I let the week go by. Then I emailed asking "If you’re feeling better I’d like to take you to lunch this week. Does Wednesday work for you?" She comes back with "I think lunches are a great way to get to know new people so would you mind if (another office girl) joined us as well?" Wow. So that's obviously a blow off. I mean, sure, she'll do lunch but with a friend? Lame. So now I just want to kill the whole idea. Fact is I can't STAND the other girl she wants to invite or I might have considered it. I want to say something like "If I wanted to get to know (other office girl) I would have asked her." or something. I dunno. Weird situation. It's obvious to me that the primary isn't all that interested and/or comfortable so I don't want to waste one more second on this. Suggestions? Do I go? Do I not? What to say to kill this whole thing without being totally rude. |

just because the hb invited this other girl, it doesnt mean that she's not interested. if you cancel or make a big deal that you dont like the other girl, you'll lose your chance with the hb. u cant show that you are affected. play it cool. have the lunch, engage in both of them and then afterwards ask the hb out in the evening sometime. |

Really? Ugh. I really can't stand the other chick. She's a married AMAZON with a bitch face. Pretty close to a war pig. I thought when a chick invites her friend that was a flag saying she's not interested or comfortable. She just doesn't want to be a bitch and say no. |

Quick update. I decided that I am the man and I am calling the shots. I gave her an offer, it's not negotiable, especially since it's frigging coffee and a doughnut. I could maybe understand if I asked her to the bar or something but forget it. If a 38 year old woman can't go for a sandwich with a co-worker for an hour by herself she's and idiot. So I wrote "Yes I would, but if you're not comfortable one-on-one don't worry about it. Maybe some other time." I don't care how hot the HB is I want a woman that acts like a woman, especially if she expects a man to be a man. Across the parking lot after work she was talking with a few office girls and i caught her staring at me. I'm not gonna hold my breath but perhaps holding my ground raised her IL a bit. |

"I don't give a shit" Now you are talking like a true PUA On the other hand have you ever thought of the fact that maybe she invited her friend because she docent get involved with anyone without her friends approval? Befriend her friend then she will fall into your lap...or in the case on your dick! |
