Post subject:  My Favorite False Time Constraint

I've been visitin clubs for a little bit now, a couple of weeks, every night--I'm a day game guy mostly, but I'm trying to make new friends, and meet new kinds of women, so I've started doing the whole club scene.

My favorite false time constraint, which is one I use in every large group setting not just clubs (I'm a solo act), and has been uber effective is, "Hey, I don't want to take up too much of your time, and there are a lot of other interesting (or fun) people I want to meet here, but..." the implied compliment got 90% of every group, (especially two sets) to light up, it disarms them, because it implies that I'm talking to everyone, and just looking for fun people to hang with.

I had worried that it would create that lonely person image in their mind when I first tried it. As in, here's this guy alone trying to meet people to hang with, so he has no value. But, it seems to have the opposite effect. Here's this friendly and open guy making friends everywhere he goes, he doesn't need anyone because he can find anyone (also, we need to keep up his first impression of us being interesting (or fun).

I know this because the three women I brought home with me in the last week and a half have said that exact thing.

It still sounds like you're trying to seek approval. It's a good time constraint but I would work on the wording so it doesn't sound like you're being sympathetic to bothering them for their time. They should feel honored you gave them your time and not feel like they have to decide if you're worth theirs. You may get responses but in general if you approach women at the bar or club, any approach alone will get ppl responding. As good as having a response is, what you're looking for is what they think after you leave. Be more apathetic about their approval. Again its good time constraint but work on the wording to show your in control of the convo. Not them.

It's good especially since your rolling solo.

Hey, i gotta get back to my friends in a sec, *opener*.
Or you can just lean back like you're on your way but just stopping by (this one works best for me, its body language).
I suggest you use the second one :)

I think its not bad, but just be prepared for the "well why don't you go talk to them and stop bothering us" reply you would likely get off any cockblocks.

This could work out if you can handle the challenge effectively which (you've baited them to say) thus leading and taking control and demonstrating your value with your witty reply but move straight into your pattern as soon as you can.

Always stay up beat and fun and friendly otherwise you might look like a jerk from their point of view.

Let us know how you get on with it mate.

Kudos on trying your own shit instead of asking others whether it would work. If you had asked the question of whether this is a good FTC, I'd have said no. But it's working for you. Wish more guys would try different things instead of asking and possibly missing something that can help them

The concept is good but I would also say that you may want to change up the wording a bit so it doesn't sound like your apologizing to them about taking their time. Props on experimenting with some original material, that's really what it's all about, you just have to keep trying to new things constantly and sticking with what works best.

OP, do not change a thing. It is working for you. I repeat, do not change a thing.
