Post subject:  Not sure where to take this POF conversation

Cute girl messages me first.

Her: Hey There! :D
Me: Hey whatsup? So your a make up artist, that's neat. So what's your story? Do you go to (local university)?
Her: Hey there I'm not up to much at the moment. I am a make up artist it's pretty awesome lol my story is far too long and complicated to type and no I just live here :-D what about you?

Whenver I "be myself" and just go with the flow of the conversation it always dies. I want to get to know her more and it's too early to directly ask to exchange numbers. So what should be my next move?

You should show some interest in her, maybe go ahead and say

"I'm all ears" or "I've got a long time". Show her that you actually want to get to know her. For your opener, with all the question, personal preference I would avoid doing that, but it works do it!

My response would be: "That is a pretty awesome job, who do you work for? I'm (blah blah blah, say a little bit, not to much you want to make her want more). However your going to have to tell me your story, I have a lot of time on my hands!"

Something like that. Good Luck!

Exclusive.

It's never too early to get her number. The longer you wait the more desperate it will be when you do ask.

Try not to start sentences with "So..."

Don't ask multiple questions in the same sentence, it shows weakness/indecisiveness. Lead the conversation where you want it to go by making statements rather than constantly asking questions. Be a little ambigious and try to get her asking you questions and try to make the conversation multi threaded so it can branch off in different directions if one thread fails, cut it and head in another direction.

If you have to, make stuff up. Remember it's not lying it's flirting.

"Well, if you'd rather talk than type, I could call you. What is your number?"
