Alright so I met this chick at a party and we jived pretty good. She told me about how she just got out of a relationship where her BF cheated on her and that she was just looking for friends(I wasn't in the community then so I acted like an AFC). She found me on facebook, we chatted idly and when I tried to get her to hang out she gave me the "im sick" excuse. I talked to her a bit later but nothing really came out of it. This was a few months ago. Since then she has poked me a few times and eventually sent me the following.
HB: POKE! POKE!Usually, I just press the "poke" back button, lol. You have been poked
Me: You may have started this poke war but I intent to finish it!
HB: The war is over when I say is over
Me: Congrats on the new job (this is about 2 weeks after the prior msg, found out through a status update she just got a job)
HB: Thanks!
I'm an education aide at the Kroc Center and also fill in for the librarian when she is absent. HB(an hour later):Btw, do you know how to play pool? I want to learn how to play and am asking friends if they have a pool table or can give me some pointers. Anyways, take care.
I don't know how to play pool and am certain that telling her I do or can isn't the right course of action. What do you think I should say in response to peak her attraction without seeming like I am trying too hard. I want to meet her, and from the sounds of it she wants to meet me but doesn't want to seem like thats what she's after(indirect).
