| Post subject: | Tricky Situation with old girlfriend (2002!) |
I was with a girl at Uni for 3 years and after that we parted company and didn't stay in contact at all. We were really close and went through some quite dramtic times together which is why I think it was way too pianful for us to stay friends. We last spoke in 2002 I think. About 3 or 4 years ago I sent a letter to her, actually to her parents place because I didn't have her address. It was quite light hearted, just reminiscing about old times, asking what shes doing with herself and telling her about what I'm up to. I know she received the letter because I sent it by recorded delivery and it was diverted to another address. Also, about a month after I sent the letter she called me and said hello but then hung up the phone. It was 100% her. I tried calling back but no answer and I texted her but again no reply. So, I write another letter and here is where I think i screwed up. I put loads of emotional stuff in it and looking back it must have been quite heavy to read. I never got a response and I didn't try calling her again and actually deleted her number. So, then I see that shes on FB and I try to add her but she doesn't accept. What I want to make clear is that I'm not pursuing her as a GF, I am just really curious as to what shes doing with herself and would like to form a friendship if possible. I'm wandering what I can message her on FB that might make her take interest and respond. Any suggestions? |

Sorry, but she is not interested. Nothing you can say to her will make her interested, only if she, by herself, sees you doing it big/being the life of the party/getting it on with hot chicks will get her interested. |

Yeah, dude, don't chase her. You need to go after her in a more indirect way. There was this one girl I always wanted in High School, we had the same mutual friends all thru High School, but I never talked to her because I always got AFC around her. I moved out of state and just a few weeks ago started getting in contact with all my old high-school friends. I finally got her to send me a request! What I did was made my profile somewhat interesting. I put a bunch of videos of me snowboarding at different places around the country, and put my best pics up. Along with pics of my house, my jeep, me at work, etc... I then sent requests to all my old friends that had her as a mutual friend. It worked! Even though we barley talked in H.S she sent me a request! I knew she'd look at my profile if my name kept popping up in her friend's status... This also got me in contact with a really attractive girl I dated in Jr. High! We're going out for coffee on Monday, too.. |
