Your right, I probably wouldn't mix well in your world, I'd be toxic to you. I'm a confident guy and I don't apologize for it, and there is the problem. You seem to be a girl who tries to read too much into things because you might not be as confident as you might want others to believe, always thinking there is an ulterior motive. I once dated a beautiful young lady who oozed confidence because she had to as her job was to be a model, but on the inside you could tell she was very fragile. She always thought that when someone gave her a compliment they were really making fun of her. She knew i found her special and i showed it but it was still lingering, her lack of confidence, so I always ask a girl this before I get to know them better. But, I suppose, I would just be toxic to you.

So I tried sending out a few myspace messages by saying, Would you say you're a confident enough person to accept a sincere compliment? While most said, sure, and i went into my "Great, me too!, Why don't you go first" This one wrote a novel back to me, and I kind of feel that line wouldn't be enough. Here was her response. (I've bolded a keep line in her response, as i feel its needed) Well that is an interesting way to start an email. I wonder what your true intention was by writing it.... hmmm. I consider myself a very confident person; however, there is not a 'diva' bone in me. I appreciate compliments given, but never look at them as words alone. So now that I've answered your question, I'd like to know what compelled you to ask it. You don't seem like the type that would mesh well in my world, so I'm curious as to why you feel that you do. I guess she's a model or something, but still, who says that?! What do you guys think? how should I respond?

I just crafted this quickly and i like it because it has a neg or two, a couple of DHV spikes without trying to hard, and it also shows that you are in touch with your emotions. It also has a number of MM lines in it. Wait to post a response to her until others have looked at this thread or at my response because for all I know it might be horrible. - Memento
