I have a lot of questions, like what was your first message? How far into the conversation is this? How hot is she? What site is this?

but I might reply something like "yeah blind dates suck. that's why I wanted to talk to you on the phone first, to make sure you aren't really a scary man and to get to know you a bit." or something along those lines. If she is really stuck on not giving out her phone number OR meeting on blind dates, then I can't really fathom what possible purpose she has for being on a dating site. Dating pen pals?

you might have to build more comfort through messaging. perhaps try to get her to chat live. chatting is a lot more fluid and is a great way to build comfort.

Its on Facebook. We have been friends on facebook for some time now. She comments/and "likes" a lot of my status's and i do the same to hers. Comfort i dont think is an issue, shes from my home town but we've never met. OH and shes a bartender. HB81/2

I'm honest, it happened and will never happen again. Started off on the wrong foot to begin with on that one....was at a bar.....crowded, how much can you get to know somebody in a setting like that??Maybe i'm just kinda old school but for a date i prefer something one on one at say a restaurant, not a sports bar. I know a place i wanna take you, its not to fancy but i assure you its the best italian you will ever eat :) My family has been going there for over 20 years.
