So I was talking to this girl and she was definatly qualified. after 28 messages back and fourth I asked her for her number. Then that was it. Did I blow it you do I wait a bitt then talk to her again soon? |

Def not a pua but maybe i can give you a tip that has helped me sometimes. Try not to ask the girl for the number. perhaps just say that you gotta go or something else so you won't be on for a day or so and give her your number. Let her take the iniative to contact you  And no i'm pretty sure you didn't blow it. just wait a little while and see if she contacts you. If she don't you can just talk to her. |

Thats waht I thought. Thanks for the input. Its clicking a little bit but not fully because everyone is different. |

You should be asking within 10 messages.

I don't even want her damn number anyways. I want a face-to-face meeting for 30 minutes of coffee. I don't want to talk to her on the phone, I don't particularly like phones and that's just more wasted time. Phone talk has nothing to do with who she actually is. I may be losing some dates not bothering with the phone, but I don't like timid women who need all this "prep" before they'll meet a man in a public place. |

28 messages? Wow, sir, you have the patience of a plaster saint. Any girl that messages you that long probably just wants a penpal, you scared her off when you tried to take shit offline. Next time, give the girl your number within 6 messages and let her know you intend to meet her in real life. |

Many times when i give the phone number, they just stop all contact and don't text me either. I have more success by asking for hers or more usually, 'do you wanna swap numbers' and don't give here mine yet, then she usually sends hers in the next message. |

Well yeah, you have to give your number out at the right time. Nothing will happen if you give it out cold. You have to strike while the iron's hot and that takes skill. |

Wait a little and you could try and reopen. That is a LOT of messages without a number exchange, I usually do it after 8-12 messages back and forth. You always want to ask for the number exchange on a high point in your message conversation before it gets boring. Try to build more DHVS and and then try for the number close again, if it doesn't work...who cares move on to another |
