Bad mouth expression in your leading head shot. Lose it, you look like a retard. I'm sure you can take a picture of yourself where your mouth is not doing something odd. The 2nd head shot shows your looks better, but unfortunately it is sad looking. Go take a happy photo. Your "content" shots are good. Actually I got rid of my own headshots entirely, instead using full body shots + I'm doing something fun shots. My response rate went up significantly. I think leaving your looks undefined and imprecise can work to your advantage. Digital photography is a brutal medium, it's very easy for the camera to make you look much worse than you do in a mirror or in real life. Rather than giving a woman an "honest" way to micro-analyze your physical inadequacies as seen by a Charged Coupled Device, why not let her hope for the best? If I can get a good head shot of myself that I like, I'll put it in there. But right now I don't have one, and my Dad "the family photographer" didn't have one, so I just used what he had. He did have a lot of action shots of me though, and those definitely helped my cause. If I were you, I'd lead with a badass hockey photo. Show your macho. Also, attach a full-sized hockey photo to every introductory message you send out on POF. That's your persona. I think there's an advantage to sending a full photo that's "right there" with your 1st message, that shows you're cool + in shape, no additional clicking required. Myself, I send a photo of me painting a harbor from a highrise apartment. You might want to fix your spelling mistakes. It may make you more accessible to less intelligent women, but it's a turn-off for more intelligent women. Depends on what you want. If you're trying to attract women who talk exactly like that, you're fine. "If you are looking for a bad boy, thats definatelly not me so keep looking." Sounds borderline DLV to me. Just about everything in PUA theory says that women actually like "bad boys," whether they want to admit it or not. I'd drop it. I don't see how this qualifier helps your cause in any practical way. If you want to play up that you're a Policeman / Strong Protector that's fine, you don't need to comment about "the Dark Side" and tell "dark" women to get lost. "I'd say i'm rather the geeky/dorky type, and i'm not horribly ashamed of it." That's seriously DLV dude. Don't talk like that. Don't type yourself negatively. If there's anything positive about the geeky/dorky things you do, frame those specific things in the most positive way possible. "I much prefer having a few friends over for drinks n games." Umm what kind of games? Sounds DLV. Since you said you were a geek, I think you mean Dungeons & Dragons or World of Warcraft or something. If your games are actually cool then say specifically what they are. Otherwise drop it. Hmm, later you say "playing card games/video games/board games," so yes you're talking about dorky games. Put that stuff in your "interests" section and don't talk about it. It'll be a plus to the occasional "gaming geek gal" that comes along, and won't scare off the non-gamer gals, who are the vast majority. I'm a computer game developer myself; I don't talk about that, I talk about Art and painting. I don't talk computer and geek stuff unless that's actually a positive for her. Monicajel's social approval is cool. I guess your "happy chick candy" stuff is working for you, all those morals and cuddling and etc., even if it's not my own style. |

Dude your a good looking guy but what mistakes you guys do is become the same prince charming stats as everyone else. Set your self different from others. Talk about something interesting or weird just something to make someone scratch their head and think about it for a while. most of these girls probably have seen the same thing over and over. |

#1 Your pics aren't good, Maybe get a couple smiling ones that aren't all bent over. #2 Your interests are too overbearing. There is so much crap in the interests I nearly fell asleep by the time I got to the meat of the profile #3 Your profile kinda reeks of wussy, nobody wants a prince charming, make it more edgy or something |
