Post subject:  How many mistakes can YOU find?
K here's the backstory: I'm a highschooler, I invited this girl from another school to our homecoming, and at the dance we grinder and made out. It's now a week and a half later, and she's been really busy with her sport, but it just ended. I'd been texting her just to keep in touch every other day or so, and so I texted her today with intentions of getting together this weekend. I would strongly appreciate if you could make constructive criticms on my conversation. Thanks in advance.

I had left a call on her phone saying we should get together this weeked.
Her: Hey got your nessage, sorry i didnt have my phone with me, but ya maybe we can hang out this weekend
Me: Great. I kindof feel like you fell of the face of the earth for the last week and a half :(.
Her: O im sorry, ive just been really busy lately wit school and water polo and a whole bunch of other stuff
Me: Yeah so I've heard lol. Congratulations on getting 2nd place in sections btw.
Her: Thanks
Me: How late do you think you'd get out of church on Sunday?
Her: I'm not sure about sunday yet but saturday I have relatives in town
Me: K text me later, gotta go.

So yeah, huge thanks to anyone who can help me out with this. Not sure if I should just give up on this one.

What is in that convo isnt bad where you should give up...Its just a bland and boring convo. Call her and ask her to hang out-

Well, in my opinion, there's no need to text every other day just to keep in touch. I think this is what most guys do wrong- they think they're going to lose the girl if she doesn't hear from you for a while. You won't.

Secondly, I like that you left her a message. That was good. Your conversation, however, should have gone something like this:

Her: Hey got your nessage, sorry i didnt have my phone with me, but ya maybe we can hang out this weekend
You: Yeah, I'm free for a bit on Sunday
Her: I'm not sure about sunday yet but saturday I have relatives in town
You: Ok.

Notice how you should not have responded to her first message by conveying that you noticed her absence.

Also, notice how she mentioned what she was doing Saturday- something that had no connection to what you asked her ("How late do you think you'd get out of church on Sunday? ") This was so that if she wanted to change her mind last minute, she could use the excuse "My relatives spent the night and they're still over" or something else along these lines.

Lastley, I like that you ended the convo relatively short, but next time don't add the "text me later". Just leave it at "Ok" or "gotta go".

What I would do now is wait until Saturday to see if she says anything about Sunday. If she doesn't mention it by Saturday, text her Saturday afternoon and say "Hey, something came up and Sunday's no good for me. Maybe some other day!" and LEAVE IT AT THAT. If she responds with, "Ok/Awww/fine/" or anything along those lines, just don't reply- there's no need. If she says "how about next ____" say "I'll let you know". And LEAVE IT AT THAT.

I agree with roz except I don't think you should have asked her to hang out via voicemail. It takes more balls to ask her out on a live phone call then it does on a message which makes you look so much better.

Also, You never should have said the thing about her falling off the face of the earth. Makes you sound like you've been waiting on her call. She needs to wait on your call.

My next move would be to wait till she texted me. I wouldn't answer until the next day and make up some bullshit excuse like you dropped your phone or something stupid like that. While she's waiting for you to text her back she's going to be worried sick that you're mad at her or that you're with some other girl and it's going to drive her nuts. That is until you finally get back to her and she will be ecstatic to hear from you.
