Well thank you As far as interesting messages go -- you have noooooo idea. I've almost completely stopped checking this thing and replying to messages because a lot of them are just ridiculous, blatant examples of people trying-too-hard to sound witty or intelligent. Or I'll have the guys that will basically write me a novel trying to convince me of why I should date them -- no offense to those gentlemen, but if someone really has to sell themselves that much just to get someone to CONSIDER going out with them, that's not saying much about their confidence level. And then there's the ones who send a cut-and-paste message to every girl they think is cute, which are always obvious becuse they never bother to personalize it with the person's name or any information about them... Needless to say, this whole online dating thing has been an entertaining, but rather unsatisfactory experience. How's it working out for you?
