I've tried this on MSN and it works well for getting a conversation started, and in some cases it works for getting girls on cam.

At this point, you should try and make this female the centre of attention by asking her if SHE'D do what 'your friend' is doing, ie. going on cam on like that.
If it's a "YES" ----> "Well could I be really cheeky and go on with you instead please?"
If it's a "NO" ----> "Oh you're not very adventurous are you?
."At the very least I've had a nice conversation that follows, but have also had some number-closes, and even some cam action too. This is just an opener though, from thereon you're on your own.
