| Post subject: | Online dating - meeting up question |
i have a question regarding a first meet-up with someone i am meeting online. what is the followup courtesy after the first brief (30 mins) meetup? if i want to see her again, do i tell her then and there, or call her the next day or in 2 days, and just ask her out on a regular date? thank you for your help! |

All the girls I met from online we either kiss or have sex on the day we meet up. If I want to see them again I wait like 5 days or have them call me. If you LIKE the girl and she LIKES you, then she will see you shortly. Hell I spent a whole weekend with a girl in Dallas I only knew from myspace. |

I would never mention a second meet up on the date, unless she brings it up first. It almost always appears eager. Depending on the level of connection you had, either text or call the next day. (If a deep connection, you can call, if not, text - so you'll usually text) A lot of times, if she had a good time, she'll text you the next day or the same night. 30 minute meetups are short. I'm wondering why you're only meeting for such a short time period. If you get along, suggest going to grab lunch or see a movie. Or if you're on a budget, take a walk around the city. |

If its your first meet up with someone who you have gamed on MySpace/Facebook, try not to make it a 24hr date haha. What I do when I am meeting a HB from the onlinez, I get her interested over the phone through fluff/kino escalation. Once she is down to meet, I tell her I have "business" to take care of right after the date (give a false time constraint so you can actually decide when you want to end the date). I try and make the date last a little longer than an hr (extend time if you choose to build more comfort) The day of the meet, right when I see her, I CHEESE up and say something like "OMG WTF DUDE its been so long since we last spoke! ! !" From there its as if she has known you for so long, conversation won't be awkward and the two of you will hit it off. Think of it this way, she's actually wanting to see you, that's a start |

thanks very much for the reply guys, really appreciate it. i did not realize there were more posts on saturday, so i already made some mistakes, but will hopefully be able to correct for next time. zennixx, thanks for the tip, that is a great way of starting the convo! will try it. Eric Lercara - i had the 30 mins date and the longer date on sunday. i did make the mistake on sunday of talking about the thing we can do next time. too late to correct now, but shall keep this in mind. i was simply trying to find out her interests so i pick an activity she likes, but i see your point about seeming too eager. Voodoo.Fresh - yes, i just suggest a meetup, the date was like a small trip to an interesting part of the city. M_j_f - i will need to follow your technique of rapidly escalating, i am working on this |
