I just signed up to this site called okcupid.com and its actually the best dating site i've been on. it definitely has the hottest girls ive seen at least where i live. theres only one problem , i have sent a lot of messages out, and i dont think im bad looking at all, and i feel like my messages are witty and or funny (theyre all situational and maybe 1 or 2 canned ones just for fun) , but literally no responses. has anyone else tried this site out? how successful were/are you? |

It's hard, but I find the best way to get responses is to say something flat out impulsive and crazy, or something insulting. Whatever gets them to respond, then you've got their attention. EDIT: When I say something crazy, I mean like batshit crazy. Also if your name is Patrick_Bateman on there, you may be scaring girls away for obvious reasons. |

haha, no its not patrick bateman on there, but that kind of makes sense. I just try to say something funny that pertains to their profile and try to link it with myself as well, thats pretty much the gist. |

yep, I signed up for the same site because I've had to work a lot lately and no time to go out. I got similar results, although I got a fair amount of replies and even girls sending me messages I've yet to EVER get a second message from any. check my thread "why would anyone with game..." where I listed all the reasons online blows |

Really, say impulsive shit. I field tested many different kinds of messages and I got 40 out of 50 women to reply. It was awesome, and my messages were crazy. Here's an example: Ok, so what if... Apr. 25, 2010 – 10:23pm on your perfect day, pirates happened to roll onto shore and demand that you become a pirate or die! Now this isn't the decision part of the story, but it's getting there. You decide to become a pirate, with the intention of one day turning the tables and usurping the ship from the captain's control! His name will be Captain Waterbottle since that's the first thing I saw while trying to think of a name. Now, when Capt. Waterbottle isn't looking, you have the chance to push him overboard OR whack him in the head with the plank... what do you do? You use the plank! Now how do you cover up the evidence!? She gave me a long explanation, and I asked her how long she had been writing pirate novels and segued into real convo before I broke it off because it was just a test. This message took about 20 seconds to write, and I didn't think about anything at all before hand, just went with it. |
