Post subject:  Hey guys, brand new here -- please review my OKCupid profile

I'm very very new to PUA and I did a ton of research on this forum and tidy'd up my online OKCupid profile. I'd like to hear anyone's input (what I should change/revise/remove/add) before I start trying to open :)

I went for a cocky/funny/witty approach which seems to have been working for some people. I'm also planning on taking a smiling pic and changing my main one, but here it is...

My username on okcupid is mmmdavie, but I can't to it link since I'm still a brand new poster, so I'll go ahead and copy-paste the profile here:
Quote:
My Self-Summary
I'm the eukaryotic byproduct of internet subculture, the Chernobyl nuclear meltdown, and an absurd amount of "Enter the Dragon" reruns. I'm harder, better, faster, stronger. Squared.

Here's the skinny:
I like good design. I suppose I dig art in general. Let me clarify: I'm not a fan of this this retro-emo-kitsch-crap people call art today, including the idiotic pseudo-garbage people call literature or films. If you seriously find any literary value in Twilight or Harry Potter, keep it to yourself sweetie.

I (still) like dinosaurs. Jurassic Park rocks, period. JP was the first movie I ever saw (I was about 6 and went with my whole family). It remains one of the most exhilarating moments of my life. Not only that, but many valuable lessons can be learned from Jurassic Park (i.e. velociraptor entry points).

I build/fix/use/break computers. 011110010110000101111001. This means I'm smart. I'm actually incredibly smart. I can confidently admit that I can hold my own in anything from astronomy to zoology. Try me.

And finally, I just want to say that I am an immigrant (became a US citizen in 2007) and that in my short life, I've lived through a lot, grew as a person, and became very critical of social injustice. Which is why I tutor and volunteer.

I'm here to meet intelligent attractive young ladies that know how to have a good time and are full of energy! I'm an intelligent, driven, single, handsome young man so it only makes sense. Psychos, stalkers, fat girls, chicks with children do not pass Go and do not collect $200.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a professional badass. I work out, play video games, watch movies, go out, chillax, and eat my favorite 0% trans fat junk food: Flamin' Hot Cheetos. All effin' day.

Occasionally, I go fishing with my dad or surfing with my sister.

I do research on machine cognition and artificial intelligence and write computer code as a freelance developer. I also run my own start-up; but really, all that stuff pales in comparison to how awesome my days truly are.
I’m really good at
I'm good at everything. Is this a lie? Probably not.
The first things people usually notice about me
I haven't developed psychic abilities yet, so why don't you tell me.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Literature: Long Day's Journey into Night, The Road, The Metamorphoses, The Aeneid, Women in Love, Dracula, Frankenstein Fathers and Sons, The Kama Sutra, and many more.

Films: The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, There Will be Blood, Wristcutters: A Love Story, The Man Who Wasn't There, Zoolander, Taxi Driver, Kramer vs. Kramer, Apocalypse Now, Waking Life, Sexy Beast, The Holy Mountain, THX-1138, Jurassic Park, The Brothers Bloom, Jackie Brown, Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction, True Romance, 12 Angry Men, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Amistad, Bicentennial Man, Lawrence of Arabia, Frost/Nixon, Mad Max, Naked Lunch, The Verdict, Wall Street, Watchmen, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Dune, Bob Roberts, Being There and many many more.

I love movies. Some of my favorite directors are David Lynch, Martin Scorsese, Andrei Tarkovsky, Stanley Kubrick, Francis Ford Coppola, Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Welles, David Lean and more. Neo-noir would have to be my favorite genre.

Music: Johnny Cash, AC/DC, ATB, A Touch of Class, Bass Hunter, Bob Dylan, Britney Spears, Bush, Cypress Hill, Jimi Hendrix, Explosions in the Sky, Fatboy Slim, Incubus, Miles Davis, Roy Hargrove, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Hank Mobley, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Jedi Mind Tricks, Jay-Z, Katy Perry, KISS, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Lights, MGMT, Nirvana, Outerspace, Pink Floyd, REM, Rooney, Shiny Toy Guns, The White Stripes, Simian Mobile Disco, U2, Yellowcard, and of course, Wagner, Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, etc.

Food: I'm a renowned oenophile in Southern California. :)
The six things I could never do without
● El chupacabra!!
● Pants
● An extra pair of pants
● Wi-fi
¿ The voices in my head

Wait, that's 5..
● An abacus
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Higgs boson, the unfortunate decreasing population of Mountain Gorillas, and the naked female figure. Mostly the latter.
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm watching a good movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
● I look really good in a tux. Like... really good.
● I've never been to Las Vegas. Message me if you want to schedule a road trip.

Lists are boring and I tend to be a closed book. All I can say is that some of this profile is a tad facetious. What fun would it be for me if I spilled the beans, anyway? :)
You should message me if
● You're not a total psychopath. We all know everyone can use the internet.
● You actually want to meet and hang out.
● You're very cute. I have pretty high standards and I'm slightly partial to blondes.
● You're clever/witty and have a personality. This is probably the most important.

As for a date, somewhere public. Preferably a place or activity that is fun and entertaining on its own. Like a gallery or shopping or an activity. That way it can be fun even if we don't have any chemistry. And understand that at any point either one of us has the right to say "Lets just be friends." Chemistry in person is tricky and sometimes unpredictable. That's just life.

So if you want me to woo you like you've never been woo'd before, shoot me a message. I'm very cool -- but not like Vanilla Ice "cool".

More like B.B. King cool. Or Sean Connery cool.
Any help is very appreciated. I'm glad I'm not the only one on this journey of self-improvement!

I think it's a bit too long - I do like the bit about Twilight and Harry Potter fans! It's a good mix. I'd just go with and see what happens. I'm utterly biased against OkCupid - have used it and found it good as useless I did manage to arrange a meet with a woman but she flaked. I hope you have better luck

Thank man! I'll try to condense some parts of it as it does seem a bit verbose. And I'm mostly doing this as a learning experience, but some good luck wouldn't hurt :)
