Post subject:  Facebook - AreYouInterested - loophole/bypass

Hi Guys,

I use Facebook a bit and I joined their AreYouInterested application. To be brief it is aimed a getting you to part with cash to do even basic stuff...but there is a small workaround. inspired by Dave M's match.com workaround

You can choose to send a gift to a girl you're interested in and with that gift send a message. The gift COSTS so don't send a gift instead use a *variation* of this:-

In the subject line - "No gift but I think chat and connection is better don't you?"

And in the message . "Hi theirname you look interesting and I'd like to get to know you better ... mail me direct at youremail ( at ) youremaildomain ( dot ) com
Regards yourname"

Using the format "youremail ( at ) youremaildomain ( dot ) com" bypasses some autofilter that the application uses. I've had a few responses so far and will continue with this for a while and experiment

there's NO link as far as I'm aware you just use the same basic idea - apparently Match.Com used to apply autofilters to mails which included external email addresses and wipe out that email and/or wipe out the entire mail. Dave M of Insider Internet Dating found that if you apply a different format to the external email address then it slips through those filters. *** I have read somewhere that Match.com wised up to that trick and it no longer works ***. As I don't use Match I cannot verify this. I certainly know that on AreYouInterested my format works. Why give an external email address? A lot of members of Match apparently are on free memberships and that limits what they can view/reply to...ditto for AreYouInterested.

As an experiment I will try to see if I can pass through the easiest format in AreYouInterested for example normal email mrloverman@sex.com becomes mrloverman @ sex . com
