| Post subject: | trying a new line to respond to friend requests on Facebook |
I've been getting a bunch of friend requests from girls lately. Not really sure what triggered it, not sure I really care to be honest. I'm not big on online gaming anyway. Anyways, I added the first few saying fuck it a few new friends isn't bad. But it's been a constant stream and I didn't want an assload of people I don't know who will probably never message me on my list. So I came with a new message to send out to start weeding them out and I wanted the forums opinion on it. the message goes: Title: Just saw your friend request Body:"Hey I love meeting new people but I've been getting a lot of these friend requests lately. If I add you all, I'll end up with a big friends list with a bunch of people I don't know. You're pretty cute but there are a lot of cute girls out there. What makes you different?" Let me know what you think and what could be improved on. I already sent out a few like this for shits and giggles to try it out. Whenver I get the responses, I'll post back the results. Also, another line I've used for earlier ones was: Title: So Body: do you always go around adding random people or.....? : ) Got some reactions from it but nothing I could lead anywhere else. One was postive and one was a promoter I later learned so her response is just w/e and the last never responded back. I'm not a fan of this one but I figure you guys could tell me why it's no good. I know it isn't, I just can't place my finger on why. |

The second one is too abrupt of a shrug-off. That kind of neg works in places like clubs because you're still there talking to her friends and being interesting, so there's a dangling string to chase. Online direct, you just come off as unfriendly. The smiley helps, but it can't save it. The first one looks pretty gold to me. You DHV twice and force her to validate. You'll probably get a number of them to back off when you do this, but high-value girls will likely step up, potentially by negging you back. |

~ Love is the scent with the lotus born. It is the silent choirs of petals Singing the winter’s harmony of uniform beauty. Love is the song of the soul, singing to God. It is the balanced rhythmic dance of planets - sun and moon lit |

I almost forgot all about this post. Anyways report time. Been a couple weeks or so and no response. Either they were not interested or it was too strong for them. I'm betting it came off as full of myself since we don't know each other at all. Maybe I'll try the special list of friends line the next time some girl tries to add me. Thank God for bars and clubs. Hope this helps someone else out. |
