Okay, so I stumbled upon the profile of a HB8 that I found super cute, though I've never met her. Thought, "fuck it," and sent this message: "Ha, fancy seeing you on here.. sorry for bailing without a goodbye the other night!" A bit predictable I know, but worth a shot I thought. Got a reply just now: "I don't think we've met. You must think I'm someone else. So you're bailing without a goodbye is forgiven." How would you respond? Remember that she is correct in thinking we've never met  Thanks! |

Oh, it's a pretty small city by the way, we do have some mutual friends.. I was thinking something along the lines of, "Woah, way to CRUSH my self-esteem!! You're not the X I met at X the week before last? Said we'd get a beer sometime but then I got dragged off before getting your number..?"Likely response of her, "No blah blah" Then me if it all goes to plan, "Well, can we just pretend you are then?!" Thoughts? |
