I have been chatting with girls on POF, and my current strategy is doing a number close on the third message. I recently got this response from a girl... ok well if you have a blackberry my pin is XXXXXXX and my msn address is XXXXXXXXXX i dont think calling is probably the best idea as you probably wouldnt know who i was if i did call so theres my info..feel free to contact me I don't use blackberry so I'm not really sure what that pin number is about... I guess it's for some sort of chat software or something... I don't mind chatting on msn... I usually have pretty good game on there and I am confident that I could get a girl to switch to phone after chatting with her for about 15 minutes on there. The question I have is if I comply by moving the game to msn instead of phone do I give her too much power and come off looking like a wuss? Or should I bust on her for being so uncooperative... Any suggestions on how I should respond to this situation?

In that it sounds like you are passive about whether or not you think they will actually contact you. Most PUAs prefer to get the girls number, so they have the option of contacting them or not and are in complete control of their next chat. Twice in there you sounded unsure of yourself saying "so theres my info" and "i dont know if you have blackberry or not" or things like that. get the girls number, dont give yours

Hey SnowboardPrep thanks for the response.... I think you are misunderstanding what I am saying, that stuff about msn and the blackberry is the girls response to my message where I asked for her number.... I'm wondering if I should chat with her on msn... or bust on her for not giving me exactly what I requested.

Thanks for the reply Jurupa. I think that is part of the problem with this girl, all her emails were short and to the point, she didn't give me a lot to work with... so my number close wasn't as strong as I would have liked it to be... Would I try to be more interesting by emailing her back on the site? Or should I try to be on MSN? Should I make fun of her for not giving me her number?

Send her a message to her on the site. Bust her for not giving you her number, but do it softly as otherwise she may run. And your welcome.

Update... I finally got around to messaging the girl and busted on her on site... it totally worked... here's what she wrote... Actually I did pay my phone bill lol I just dont like the phone idea until Ive gotten to know you a bit more.. if i give you my number , promise to text me first k? xxxxxxxxx there you go. hope to hear from you soon I was planning on texting her first anyways... I like to send a couple of texts before I make the first call, I hate talking to answering machines... since she has asked me to text first I was wondering if I shouldn't... maybe it might seem like I am wussy and giving in to her demands... any thoughts?
